Solid, very low noise level
Solid, works great, very low noise level, noise level is actually significantly lower than my quality brand cordless trimmer. Use on a mini golden doodle and an Aussie doodle and doesn’t overheat. (it does get kind of warm, but not bad.) (also, I make sure the blade stays properly lubricated) Purchased a ceramic blade to go with it, but haven’t found it necessary yet because the original blade cuts well and doesn’t tend to overheat. Very happy with purchase, especially because of the unexpectedly low noise level. Would definitely recommend. (these clippers are used only for personal use on two dogs)

Amazing superior clippers
All I can say is I should’ve bought these earlier. The previous clippers I had were rated professional but were in no comparison to the quality, speed, functionality, and durability of these. I use these for personal use on my Aussie doodle, who has wavy thick hair. I asked a groomer and she recommended these along with another brand that was 4x the cost. Those weren’t in my budget but these work so well that I have no regrets. I would go over the same spots and unstick hair from the plastic attachment combs every few swipes taking me over an hour to simply cut the hair evenly. I bet it took me 25 minutes to do the same job and I could leave it long for Midwest harsh winters. I added a picture of the combs as these were a great pairing. I am unsure if I had gotten plastic ones if I would’ve been as happy with the results. So for $150 I have clippers and attachments that work very well and save me a tremendous amount of time. How much does it cost to groom your pet? This is priced but you won’t buy 3, as I have done in 2 years, if you just grab these the first time and swallow the slightly higher price tag. Also, I spoke with a friend who works in a vet office and the blade can be sharpened if you don’t want to replace it when it gets dull, which saves about $30 in replacement blade cost. She even used these on her horse. Highly recommend grabbing these trimmers and the metal attachment blades for personal use! Slight negative: As others stated, they do get warm. I found I was done cutting as it got to this point. I would think a pause for the motor to cool would take care of it if you are cutting multiple animals.

Cuts like butter
This cuts fantastic. My senior horse has a super thick coat and it cut it so easy. Well worth it

Professional trimmer, love it!
My Goldendoodle has very thick, heavy fur and I can’t trim his fur using the regular pet trimmer. This one is very strong and quiet. It cuts my dog’s hair very fast and easy. I didn’t do a good job to style his hair but he is ready for the summer.

Good Clipper, Bad Directions for Blade Change
I just took this clipper out yesterday to use it for the first time. Since I have a size 7 blade I wanted to put on, and since I am merely an amateur dog groomer of only my own dogs, I read the directions about how to remove the size 10 that came attached to it. Well, it turns out that THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE INACCURATE AND I CUT MYSELF ON THE BLADE pretty badly. (Hence, four stars.) I was worried I might need stitches, but so far the super glue I used on it is holding the skin together. This was completely avoidable since I discovered on accident how to actually easily remove the blade at the same time I sliced myself. (I am pretty sure the cut made it through all the layers of my skin on my pointer finger and I have a minor slice on the palm of my hand. The glue came off in the pic of my finger. You can sort of see the cut on the palm of my hand through the glue. I just took these pics now, not right after it happened. Will be re-gluing shortly.) The instructions say, "While holding down the blade release mechanism, push down on blade, then gently pull the blade forward." I am here to tell you not to push the blade down at all. You press the release button and then pull up on the blade and it easily comes right off. Both my husband and I tried to get it off using said directions without success, and I even used a rubber shelf liner to protect my hand while I did it. I don't even know how the slicing of my hand ended up happening. The blade was so sharp I didn't even feel it at first. So please be careful. I don't want anyond else to suffer like me. As for the clipper, it worked well on my Mini Schnauzer overall. I didn't even bother using the low setting much as the high setting was really smooth. My old Andis blade combs fit nicely on it. The cord is pretty long, but I still used an extension cord for it. The blade got hot eventually, just like any other blade, so I unplugged and let it cool off a few times. If you are a groomer, you likely have multiple blades, so that will probably only matter for us amateurs. The unit itself wasn't louder than usual. This doesn't come with a case, which I don't like, but it does have a little metal hanger on it. So enjoy the clipper, but be careful!

They work
Excellent purchase. I was unsure because I have bought so many clippers, but these really did do the trick. Great clippers

Does not even BEGIN to cut fine cat fur.
Bought what I thought would be a better quality trimmer for my long haired cat that gets awful matting. This thing literally would not even start cutting her fur. I bought a cheap " IWEEL Dog Clipper" in 2019 and it STILL works worlds better than this piece of it... Only reason I'm replacing it is because the battery is shot. Plus after only about 3 min of use, the (oiled) blade was already uncomfortably hot to the touch! If you're expecting this to be an upgrade from the budget models, don't bother. Look somewhere else.

Easy to use. Clips through thick fur easily
These are GREAT! After having corded Wahl clippers, we upgraded to the Andis UltraEdge in the hopes that it would make it easier on us and our dogs at grooming time. They are cockapoo and have thick, curly coats that the often required bathing, brushing and scissor clipping in addition to the clippers. The Andis clippers cut through like butter. I could trim the majority of the fir in 15 minutes, The face and belly were much easier to trim and the dogs were much less stressed. The blade didn't get hot and I didn't have to shut down and let them cool off. The dogs still hate to be groomed, but it was actually fun to me. I would 100% recommend these. They are worth every penny. Buy an extra blade or a clip- on comb set for different lengths.

Excellent rasoir
