QiVeda Massaman Curry - Premium Thai Curry Paste | 14oz (400g)

This is a very good curry paste. It will probably make 4-5 pots of curry (probably 6ish servings per pot). So yummy! It is helpful to look up how to make it before starting.....I had canned coconut milk so I simmered the paste in oil first. The only thing it didn't have is a nutrition label, but that makes sense as is a small business. It does seem lower in sodium by the flavor.

I use Massaman a lot in cooking (The best is ROY D.) this product is too mild for me. It has quality.

I sauted this in a little oil and then added coconut milk, beef stock, diced onions and browned beef cubes and cooked in crock pot on high for 4-5 hours. I then added chunks of potato and carrots and cooked an additional hour or so. Very tasty and restaurant quality flavor. It made enough to freeze some for a quick dinner later. I added a little more beef broth when reheating and served over basmatti rice. I liked that it didn't taste too salty either. Definitely hope it is in stock again soon.

For someone being new at making curry meals this product is very forgiving and makes you feel like you are eating a restaurant quality meal. It has a great flavor as well.

I added coconut milk, onions, potatoes, bamboo shoots, basil, peanuts and peanut butter. I had a huge pot full and was able to serve 10 people, easy with rice. Highly recommend!

Like a lot of people, I have to know the details of what I eat for medical reasons. That this product has no statement of nutrition info such as sodium makes it intolerable as a product.
