Essential Moisture Cleanser, Gentle Nourishing Shampoo for Wavy, Curly and Coily Hair, Vegan

After living in Italy, and I came upon the realization that I have to find hair products that work for me again. Italy has a brand called Epura that was amazing for me. Can I get it in the USA? No. I'm glad they have travel sizes, because my wallet has been hurting trying to find a brand that won't give me skin issues and works well for me. I was already using Curlsmith's leave-in conditioner and hydro-flexi gel. Those bottles last me about 3-4 months. I'm going to tell you this cleanser works very well and in conjunction with their conditioner. My waves were forming on their own in the shower. I'm Day 3 or 4 (night shift worker). While my roots are a little greasy, and usually they are worse. My brushed out waves are still frizz free and looking fine. A little cornstarch for roots, or I'll start with an oil mask for the cleangirl look for an extra day will be just fine. I have plenty of volume still. Curlsmith does it right. Type 2 (wavy), fine, and dense hair with random straight pieces of hair and random barrel/ringlet curls. (Who gave me those genetics?!) The only gripe that I have is that this is $10 more for a full size bottle($25-27) than what I am used to paying....but I digress. I'll take it because it works and I don't have skin issues from it like: dandruff, welts, redness, burning, or itching. My wallet is gonna hurt a litttle, but if I can go 4-5 days without washing my hair then I don't mind as much.

This product has been working for me - I have 3A/3B curls - this product has helped define my curls, it isn't as frizzy, I wash my hair 1-2 times a week and this is working for me and my curly hair journey. I purchased this and the shampoo - both work for me! It is a lightweight shampoo - as in it doesn't get too bubbly.

I love this shampoo! This brand overall is great for wavy hair, I’m sure it would be amazing for curls as well. My hair feels super clean and soft/fluffy after using it, it also dosn't fade my semi permanent hair color! My hair feels so healthy and shiny since using this brand. I would recommend this to anyone with waves or curls! Worth the money

It works so well that I even signed up for sun scribe and autoship. I have been using it for a while now and even I try different product I keep coming back to this one. It doesn’t dry my hair, respects my curls and has a light pleasant smell.

I didn’t care for this shampoo. It made my hair feel sticky.. it was more expensive than product I normally buy but I saw good reviews so I tried it and it just wasn’t for me. Left my hair feeling dry and heavy.

I loved the smell of this shampoo. I had to stop using it because it has sunflower oil in it. If you are allergic to ragweed, please be aware that ragweed is in the same family as chamomile, arnica and sunflower. Both the conditioner and shampoo have sunflower oil. The leave in conditioner has chamomile and arnica. I read the ingredients after I was getting welts. I should have read the ingredients before purchasing. I would have recommended these if not for that.

Best hair products I’ve ever used. I love them all. My curls have never looked this good and I’ve tried alot of curl products. It’s a little on the expensive side for buying all 3 products but after using them and getting no frizz they are worth it to me.

I've been using this for a couple of years and it's my go-to regular shampoo because it's so gentle. Super high quality and my (normal) hair feels so much less dry. Will re-order again and again

Does not lather as nicely as I would have hoped, so I find myself using more shampoo than I normally would. It is also smaller than I expected, but that’s my fault for not reading the product weight. Overall, I was hoping to like it more considering the cost.

Good shampoo for curly hair

I have curly box dyed hair and was looking for something to make my hair soft again it creates make my hair SO soft and the smell is amazing:) my curls have never looked better and I know it’s because this is helping my hair health .. it’s a great quality product and one I will get again definitely!
