It does not harm most kitchen and bathroom surfaces. On painted surfaces, test a small, inconspicuous area first. Do not use on eating/cooking utensils, glasses/dishes, cookware, or unfinished/oiled waxed wood floors. This product is not used on natural marble, brass, acrylic plastic, or unfinished wood surfaces. Therefore, this product cannot be used in meat slicers.
