LED Light Bulb 10 Watt 806 Lumens B22 Bayonet Cap, 60W Equivalent, Beautiful Warm White Colour, 160 Degree Beam Angle, Energy Saving, iDEAL Replacement For 60W - 70W Light Bulbs

Been looking for an LED bulb for a standard light fitting. Been using energy saving light bulbs but have to wait several minutes for them to warm up to their maximum brightness. Also brightness seemed dim compared to standard light bulbs. Saw these and after due diligence took the plunge. Arrived the next day. Changed the bulb and turned the light on. Bulb much brighter than standard energy saving light bulb and light instantly available. Easier to read comfortably with this light. Saving slightly more electricity with this bulb as energy saving bulb was 15 Watts, when this bulb is 10 Watts. Another win in having this bulb Not had long so not able to comment on life of bulb at this time. However, I liked the bulb so much I bought a further 2 bulbs for other rooms where standard energy saving light bulbs used, which arrived with the same speed and same results when lights turned on.

There are quite a few 1 star reviews here stating these didn't even make it a few months. That might be the case so please do beware of that. I purchased mine in 2015 (summer) and it is still working perfectly in Autumn 2018. No explosions or taking out the rest of the mains, just a perfectly functional and bright LED light. Again, I won't tell you to ignore the 1 star reviews. It's highly unlikely that everyone giving that score is "fake" and quite possible that the manufacturer has swapped out components to make cheaper versions since summer 2015, for that reason I'm deducting a point. But for me, no problems at all and I'm quite impressed it's still working.

Only used bulb since February, and it has now blown 6 months the later. Very bright light but dose not last as in description.

This is a great replacement for wasteful standard filament bulbs and better than the energy-saver bulbs of recent years. I ordered two different types with very similar spec from different Amazon suppliers and this is the clear winner, giving a better, more even light than the other one. (That had an aluminium collar, which cast a deep shadow over the ceiling.) Delivery was very fast. Strongly recommended.

I bought this to replace an older slow starting energy saving bulb. This buld like all LED bulbs is an instant on, very much in the style of the traditional incandescent bulbs. The bulb provides a natural warm light, without being too bright. Although the majority of the light is projected down and sideways, there is still some upwards projection, again like a traditional bulb.

Good points: Bright with good beam width. Bulb'a outer case is well made. No noticeable flicker. Bad points: none. So-so point: Colour temperature is a little cooler than I prefer for a "warm white" bulb. Bought to replace one of the final CFLs in the house. Single bulb lights stairs and landing. Most mid-price LED bulbs either lack the brightness or the beam width for this task. This bulb is brighter than a 60W traditional bulb when viewed near straight on dropping to maybe near a 45W traditional bulb at 60 degrees off centre.

Brought 2 and one failed after 6 months, only switched on for a couple of hours a day, 17 years life claimed....I think not!! I changed all of the bulbs in the house to LED and all the other ones (not Whitenergy) are all still working fine. Does not seem to be any way to claim under warranty so not impressed at all,

I ordered this light bulb on 5th december 2015. It's been used as a hallway/landing light bulb, so it wasn't even being left on for long periods of time, though that shouldn't make any difference anyway. Well, it died two weeks before Christmas 2016. Very unimpressed with the longevity. The light itself was very bright, probably too bright for my hallway, but I bought it based on the info saying it's a suitable replacement for a 60-70 watt conventional bulb. I'd say it was more equivalent to a 100 watt, but possibly if you have a dark or thick shade then you'd need it brighter. I had it in a wire and crystal globe shade, and going up the stairs towards it, you couldn't look at it...I felt I should be doing jazz hands and tapping my way to the bathroom. It's quite a white light too, but not cold white. All in all, I wouldn't buy again because it failed so soon.
