This is a lovely display case for a cricket ball I bought for an American friend. Great wooden base with an acrylic ring inside to sit the ball on, plus an acryliic case that fits over the display and slots into the wooden base perfectly. All in all, this review would have been a five star except for one minor thing which could easily be rectified. There is a protective opaque film covering the acrylic box which has to be removed to render it clear. That job would have been so much easier with a couple of 'pull tabs' to start the process. The film is 'edge to edge' on the box and I had to pick at it for quite a while to get a loose bit to pull on. My fingernails were no use and so I opted to use a sewing needle at the corners to loosen the film. Using anything bigger may have resulted in a slip - and a scratch on the cover. Other than that, it's perfect!

Good display for the price but quality control is lacking. Ordered two of the same but they are completely different. Different finish, different size, and the clear display doesn’t fit on the base properly on the second one.

I received the item as advertised. Good quality and packaged/protected well for shipping. Will definitely purchase again in the future.

I use mine to display a mineral specimen. Good quality.
