24524 Turning Steel Set 6 x 6 mm for Proxxon FD150/e

It's a great little set, and I did look to see if it was cheaper elsewhere as sometimes is the case with amazon mark up but it was in line, and with prime. The kit includes the same form tools displayed on the opening pages of the 150/e manual, so it's easy if using that as a learning tool, to associate the recommended one with a given job. Have used all the tools, with lots of semi intensive aluminium parting, and not had any issues or scares. they seem reliable Is worth noting that with the tool post on the 150e, which can support up to 8mm, they do often require raising to centre to the stock. I cut up and filed down some coke cans but you might prefer to just buy a pack of thin gauges to go a long with these, for raising a given tool a consistent amount relative to a given diameter of stock, each time. They will want to be thin width wise, so as to avoid clipping the chuck when driving the tool tip right up to it.
