So,I got this from a suggestion of another Mustang owner because the plastic one leaked badly, glad i listened, it's been on the Mustang all summer through winter and no problems, it's also easier to see it. Easy replacement.

Update 05/05/2023 No leaks or issues so far. Sensor works, thermostat works great. I have about 5-600+ miles on it so far and works great. I was a little nervous about the quality of this product but I’m surprised early on and impressed. I was expecting this to be junk. So far no leaks and the sensor works well so far and hopefully it holds up for a long time. Install takes about 2-3 hours if all Goes well. Highly recommend drawing the coolant down to make less of a mess because this is hooked up to heater, radiator and water pump so just something to think about. Also take off serpentine belt, idler pulley, Throttle body (as shown above), intake air hose, Passenger side oil breather hose, to give you the most room and keeps your Serpentine belt dry if you end up spilling coolant all over the place. Take your time don’t force anything and it should go smoothly. This comes with a new seal on the bottom but does NOT come with the 3 mounting bolts and yes a new thermostat is installed so don’t take that off since it’s pre torqued but always double check they are tight to ensure no leakage. I used this for my 2010 Mustang 4.0 V6 convertible.

Like everyone else, I got tired of the plastic oem part leaking. Tried aftermarket and oem.....with all eventually leaking. This aluminum one fit well and longevity will be the ultimate test of this part The only notable difference was that it lacked the centering boss the plastic ones had. In truth, that really didn't matter.

This part is quality made and fit perfectly, I was very dubious on purchasing this part. I am so glad I did, any doubters out there rest assured this part was a perfect fit for my 2010 Ford Mustang V6 4.0L I'm 100% satisfied !

Merci à tous qui laisse des commentaires. Donc pour ma mustang 2010 v6, 4 litres j'ai opté cette options vs le concessionnaire qui me chargeait approximatif 350$. J'ai regardé tous les commentaires qui donne leurs opinions. Donc pour ma part j'ai réutiliser le capteur et thermostat d original, en récupérant les seal des nouveaux. Pour le moment je suis satisfait. J'ai commande déjà un autre pour la mustang 2006 de ma conjointe qui as le même moteur.

The gasket/seal that connects to the engine block is low quality. It started leaking within two days of installation and had to be redone. I recommend using additional sealant during installation.

The thermostat housing went in as it should, only problem was the thermostat did NOT work. Motor started to overheat after initial start up and the upper rad hose was cold. Faulty supplied thermostat.
