Does what it says

This is a super product and it was easy to install (the ropes for the pulley system took a bit to work out) and it took my 2 paddleboards perfectly up to the roof of my shed. The pulley fixings were very good quality and were easily capable of carrying the load. Very impressed. I can now get my bikes out so much easier from the shed.

Excellent item well engineered and very easy to fit, and at a very competitive price. Top marks 👌.

Wir hatten gleich 2 Stück davon in der Bootshalle bei unserem Ruderclub installiert, funktioniert sehr gut , haben durch die Montage in der Höhe nun die Bootshalle besser ausgenützt und Platz im Bootsregal gewonnen. Da wir die Befestigung an schrägen Dachbalken gemacht hatten, mussten wir jeweils einen Holzkeil einfügen, damit die Rollenachsen waagrecht sind bzw. die Leinen senkrecht nach oben / runten laufen können.

Es una excelente producto la calidad y resistencia del material son satisfactorias, ha pesar de que en las especificacion mencionan que debe ir con fijacion en techo sobre viga de madera o concreto, funciona de igual manera con una fijacion en pared, dejo una imagen de la instalacion que hice en pared. Recomendacion (Tome en cuenta que el paquete trae sus taquetes, tornillos, etc. Estas recomendaciones son para instalacion en pared) Broca de 1/2 en conjunto con taquete de 1/2 Tornillos pueden ocupar los que trae el paquete por defecto u optar por unos mas largos Adiscionar previamnete arandelas al momento de ajustar los tornillos Sin duda una gran opcion para ahorro de espacion y mantener seguro tu equipamiento!

Can't beat it for the money. I bought this as a way to remove/store my rooftop cargo box on my Volvo and it's just what I needed. Took me an hour to install and then just a few minutes to remove my cargo box. I agree with other reviews that the rope isn't super high quality, but for my use it is fine. I think I would replace it if I were using often, but for me this will be a couple time a year. Pulleys and hardware are nice and the brake mechanism is simple, clever, and works well. I did deviate from the instructions in that I didn't use a mounting board, but just lagged the mounts into the garage ceiling framing and that worked fine and looked better. I had planned to DIY it by finding pulleys and mounts on my own, but at this price it made no sense and this saved me so much time. (I'm an engineer which means I tend to overthink these sorts of contraptions.) Very happy with this and highly recommend it.

I don't know what all the fuss is about. I'm a 60 year old woman (In very good shape) and I just installed this in my garage all by myself. It's an old garage with bare rafters and a pretty low ceiling. I mounted the pulleys to a 2x4, put the 2x4 over the rafters and nailed them down. It's a snap to thread and I can haul it all the way up to the ceiling. I mounted the pulleys about 4 1/2 feet apart. Glad I didn't have them any further apart. It's a 10 foot Kayak. The rope seems plenty strong enough. I Love this thing.
