Ebanel Bio Drying Lotion Blemish Spot Solution for Face & Body

Quick PSA: I don’t get paid for reviews, but I do like writing them so I can determine if the product actually achieves its claims. Warning: pics of my breakout aka: why I am trying this product. My background: I get monthly hormonal acne breakouts, so I am well versed in trying different spot treatments. Why I decided to try this one: it’s combination of sulfur and alcohol, both great agents for thinning the top layer of skin and drying out pimples and blackheads. I know that because my breakouts are hormonal this product won’t be a cure, but I wanted to know if it could do anything for the inflammation or the redness. Instructions: dip a cotton swab into the pink sediment and apply to blemishes without rubbing. Don’t shake bottle. This I found a little difficult because the sediment is heavier and sinks to the bottom, I used a q-tip for application. Attached are the photos I took to see how the product would impact my breakout. As you can see the product did reduce inflammation and redness and caused some of the smaller pimples to diminish. Again, as someone with cystic breakouts I don’t expect and overnight cure, but I am pleased with the results. I think using the product a few days in a row would almost completely get rid of the larger pimples. Pros: good ingredients for drying oily skin and clearing breakouts, great packaging and decent amount of product (you don’t need to use a lot for each spot), saw visible results in one night, proved claims for reducing redness and inflammation. Cons: Sulfur smells like sulfur (that’s just life), a little difficult to get the sediment at the bottom unless you use a qtip. Overall, a good product for someone with black heads or Whiteheads, will dry them out over night. For someone like me with more severe/hormonal acne it’s a great start and flattens the breakout so it’s less noticeable the next day. Okay first of all this is for a small pink bottle the bio drying lotion….my heaven! I’ve been using it for over 3/4 years now. I put nothing else on a pimple! My Skin is always usually clear and this help keep it that way with any break outs I might have. I buy about 4 bottles a year if not more. Does not dry out skin, does not burn when you apply it. It does say to keep it out of the sun ( I won’t lie I’ve worn it out in the sun forgetting it’s on my face and nothing happened but they say not to do it for a reason! ) 10/10

Before I talk about my review, I want to talk about my history with acne. I first had acne when I was around 11 yrs old. I used to have oily skin. Right now, my skin is the combination type and I'm suffering from cystic acne/pustular acne. It's often hard and painful even with just the slightest touch. I used a combination of topical treatments and took some antibiotics in the past in order to help combat the issues I had with my skin. I never had any redness on my skin except for the pimple itself. Hence, I was really curious to try this product when it was offered to me for review. WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT: - I liked how some of my pimples had been better overnight. It only works for certain pimples, not the hard & painful type of pimple. So, yes it dries out certain blemishes. IT WORKS OVERNIGHT FOR MINOR blemishes. WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE: - The strong alcohol chemical smell. - The way of using this product. I messed up twice. Careful not to mix/shake the bottle and use a q-tip to reach for the pink gunk close to the bottom of the bottle. That's what you want to apply on the affected area. I would definitely recommend this product to those who have minor breakouts from time to time. I'm not sure if this product is helpful for those with cystic acne. I've only used this product for a week, so only time can tell if I would recommend it for those suffering from cystic acne. I was satisfied overall.

No adverse reactions, that's a plus. Reduces appearance temporarily, but does not clear up blemishes.

FOR REFERENCE: I do not struggle with frequent acne breakouts, but do get them during my period/when I'm stressed/not eating right. I honestly did not have any high hopes for this product, solely because I've had so many crappy experiences with previous products that promised to make my blemishes less noticeable or disappear ASAP, but I am so amazed by the results already. I've only had this product for two days, but within that time span, I've had four whitehead blemishes completely disappear and one large pimple decrease in inflammation overnight (which I found amazing since it's been on my cheek for over a week now and was bright red + hurt to touch). This product is absolutely perfect in my eyes, but I read a few complaints regarding the amount of actual product you receive and just wanted to put my two cents in: this product should not be used to treat a large amount of blemishes every single day. I would say this product is more aimed toward those who get occasional or semi-frequent breakouts and need a quick fix. If you struggle with an actual acne problem, you may find temporary relief with this magical bottle, but you'll be restocking on this product so often it might not even seem like a good deal anymore. I personally think that for those who plan on using this a few times weekly or monthly, this bottle (the product itself is only 1/4 of the bottle) should last you a good 2-4 months depending on how often you use/how much product you use as well. And for the price.. that is unbeatable.

I’m just going to tell you right now I have TRIED IT ALL and nothing worked until this product. I didn’t even know what tiny pores looked like until now. This product visibly clears your acne and shrinks pores. I was absolutely blown away. I’ve used pro active, curology and all those expensive name brands that claim to clear acne but nothing has helped my skin like this product and it’s a whole lot easier on the budget. Even my husband has started to use it and is LOVING it. He’s doesn’t even have acne he just loves the way it leaves his skin feeling and how it shrinks the pores. Please note that when the product arrives it is usually mixed up so make sure you leave the bottle upright for a few minutes and let the clay settle to the bottom before you use it as it makes a difference in how affective the product is. The smell is Very strong at first (like alcohol) but it goes away quickly as it dries. Miracle product hands down!

The Ebanel Bio Drying Lotion has been a huge help with my son's acne. This spot treatment can be applied to any area that needs dried up fast and effectively. His forehead was a huge mess and he began using this lotion on it and other areas on his face about a week ago. Overnight we could tell a slight difference. There was noticeably less of an oily feel to his skin. The red, swollen pimples were just a tad less angry looking. After just a few days, there was an even bigger difference. Most of the redness had subsided, and new areas were not forming as they had usually been. His face, specifically the forehead, was looking so much better. You could tell he was feeling better about how he looked too, which was really the biggest benefit. After a week, his oily teenaged skin, looked like healthy skin again. There were still pimples but nothing like before. The Ebanel Bio Drying Lotion did all this without over drying or irritating skin. I have used it on my occasional blemish and also loved the results.
