Very good engraver, if using Linux and LightBurn there is a startup trick
Let's start with the drawback, if you use Linux, this engraver requires a load of the FW over USB before it is recognized. Without doing this, LightBurn couldn't see the device and let you set it up. I found someone on the LightBurn forum that wrote a python script that worked with the windows lmcv2u.sys (32-bit version) that allowed this to load. After that, LightBurn could find the device, and it seems to set it up after that. Once that was sorted, I followed the instructions to get the settings right and have been playing with various things since. I have done stainless steel, copper, brass, anodized business cards, slate, and as the pictures show, rocks from my yard. The initial start-up was frustrating, but the laser itself has been fun. On a side note, the staff at the customer support has been helpful and looking to improve, hopefully they will provide the files needed to get this set up easier in the future. But their communication has been a plus in my eyes, and what brought this from a 4 star to a 5 star review. Now onto my thoughts on the engraver. The details it produces are out of this world. This is does such a good job engraving, the rocks in the picture are sitting on paper towels, you can see they aren't that big, yet the detail is stunning. Adjusting the height is really easy, for a introduction to fiber lasers, this is a great unit.

This is great for PCB at home!!
I was worried that the 20W might not be strong enough for making PCBs, but so far I'm really impressed. I'm drilling the holes on my CNC machine, since the laser will mass the pads, but for all other steps of the PCB - this is great! Look at the image, those are extremely small pads with little space between it, and It handle that! I need to find better clad copper boards, because small pads that are not connected will delaminate from the board. I've bought it mostly for the PCB at home thing, now with the tariff who knows how expensive it will get, and making it at home is so much faster.

Not what I expected
The machine itself is pretty quick. It does not engrave right on leather nor steel. Iโm very upset with this. I got this one because it was a decent price and I figured I would be able to engrave on a lot of material. So I donโt know if I had to get a higher wattage or what. But the 20w that I got said everything that I liked. I definitely would have returned it if I would have tested it out more in a timely manner. In my opinion, it is not worth getting the 20w laser.

Works Great for What I Need it To Do
I bought it over a year ago to mark nickel plated brass parts and have not had any issues. This is my first laser, so I have nothing to compare it to. It runs well with the included modified CAD software. When I was researching my need, their help desk said that the 20W would be sufficient. They could have up-selled me. But with that, I wish I had purchased a little higher wattage unit because once you start playing around with it, you find all kinds of other things to try.

Laser is extremely well made, and customer support is top notch
One negative to get out of the way, no fault of Cammarker, was a couple of large holes in the shipping box, which I was about to return without openeing. Anyway, I opened box, and thanks to Cammarker packaging there was no damage. Laser is extremely well made, simple to put together, and very solid. I ran a couple tests without any issues, apart from settings tweaking. Customer support is top notch, and went above and beyond to help me with my purchase. Purchased the 50w B4. Fast delivery, awesome customer support, and a great product at a great price.
