We bought this shade cloth for our garden and chicken run. Different levels of shade depending on need. They all worked great! The protection from the sun and heat was stellar. The plants and birds did really well. Definitely worth spending the money.

I have a tri-level stilt house in the treetops overlooking the river valley. It’s impossible to enjoy the view in the summers without the shade cloth I’m able to anchor a few ways to trees and eves to knock down the temp. Both on the deck and inside the 3rd floor bedroom; they block enough of the heat to keep things tolerable without just closing everything off. Enough sun for the blooming plants to thrive, as well. I suspend it over the deck and on the west side.

I really like how light this product is. I like how easy it is to put up. It requires to be really tight so it won’t sag, or whip in the wind. This is the second sun shade that I have bought, but it doesn’t have really strong corners. Both shades have ripped at the corners after strong winds arrived. Because it needs to be tight, it’s not designed to be taken down and put up often. The shade does shade very well. In Oklahoma, we have wind, heat and storms. Usually at the same time. 😂 I am still figuring out all of the details, but overall I like the sun shade. I am a one woman show, so I like how light and easy it is to attach. I also return a sun another sun shade on 8-27-24, and the information I received is that I will not be credited for the sun shade until 9-12-24. Not cool.

Nice and cool under this shade cloth. It let just enough light to get through while giving you some shade at the same time.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I’m using this to shade my deck. I was afraid that it might make it too shady but it’s actually just right. I have it positioned to shade the area where I exercise outdoors. It also shades my plants. It was easy to put up and I’ll be removing it for winter. It’s light weight so may not last a long time but it was not that expensive and does the job. I let it sit draped over the deck rail for a few days before putting it up to let it relax and get the folds out.

I purchased this to provide some shielding from the sun for our chickens and the quality held up to the environment about a year including a Va winter before it started falling apart and shredding. I believe it cost about $10 so I got my money’s worth. It did allow air flow and accurately estimated some sunblock. It was easy to install by attaching with zip ties.

Good rings to secure. Definitely recommended for heavy sun exposure areas. Perfect size to use to cover mesh outdoor tents in heat of summer.

This is not a thin fabric; it is a flexible netting that I put in my gazebo. It works wonders, it filters some light and matches the color of the structure of my gazebo.

Arrived in good condition and is doing the job of shading some newly planted shrubs that immediately got blasted with 35 degree days and steady wind. The edging and grommets are good, the main part is woven plastic strips. It lets a very minimal amount of sun through (bought the 70% coverage), and lessens the wind. We used zip ties in the grommets and at random points to secure it from blowing into the neighbours driveway.

Perfect for my needs - Good quality and works well

This was supposed to be 10' x 13' shade cloth with grommets in all 4 corners and along the top and bottom. There were no grommet holes let alone grommets in any corner. The product was barley 10' long and did have some grommets along the top and bottom although very poorly constructed as shown above. It was also missing two grommets on each side which were to be there. I had to buy tarp clips and bungies to attach the material to the inside roof of my patio cover which does help screen some of the heat thank goodness.
