OK, so let’s start with the value Right now. Looks like it’s sitting at a 119 now I know that may seem like a high price for a microphone compared to others, but I will say the quality of this mic. The sound quality you can’t go wrong with it. it’s a great size. You can put it on your desk and leave it on a stand. It’s not gonna take up too much room now of course when searching for a boom arm that fits just make sure that you have the right connecting pieces to fit because not all boom arms match with a mic but if you get adapting piece, you can make it work. I’ve been told that when I use this mic for streaming or even in discord, the sound quality is phenomenal. It’s nice and crisp. It enhances the voice. It sounds like you’re almost right there in the room with them right now. I don’t have any dislikes for this mic. I’ve had this mic for almost 2 years. I love something that has LEDs and it does have multiple light features that you can go through this mic is literally plug and play very simple and easy to use the pop filter that is recommended with the mic is a great addition for the shield just to get rid of unwanted sounds when you are speaking, especially those P,T and K words. Also, if you’re worried about unwanted background noise, it does have a knob for the gain to adjust incoming sounds

I used this mic during a real stream instead of doing a controlled test, and after listening back to the raw audio, it honestly surprised me. It sounds way more polished than I expected for the price, especially with no heavy processing going on. At the time I first used it, there was no official pop filter available yet, and my usual one did not fit the mic’s shape. You can hear some plosives on harder P sounds in the recording because of that. Cherry has since released a dedicated pop filter, which would probably fix most of that, but back then it was something I had to work around. The build quality caught me off guard too. I expected cheap plastic or thin metal, but it feels solid and dense in hand. It does not feel like a toy or a throwaway USB mic, even though that is what I assumed going in. Listening back to the audio, there actually is some real low end there. It is not overblown, but it has enough bass to give vocals body, and what really surprised me is how close it sounds to my Rode Procaster in a real streaming mix. That comparison feels kind of ridiculous considering the price difference, but it is genuinely closer than it has any right to be. The treble is present and clear, but it does not sound sharp or brittle. Another thing that stands out in the recording is how well it isolates background noise. It does a really good job focusing on your voice and keeping things like keyboard noise, room echo, and general background sounds under control. For streaming in an untreated room, that alone makes it way more usable than most USB mics I have tried. Overall, listening back to the actual stream audio is what sold me. This mic performs way better than a ninety five dollar mic should, and the fact that it can even be compared to a Procaster in real use is kind of insane. It is not perfect, but for the price, it is genuinely impressive.

The Cherry UM 9.0 PRO RGB is definitely a great mic especially for the price! Had it for a little over a month so far and it's definitely better than the Yeti i had
