A world where everything has been lost. A boy and a girl, alone together. A spark of hope, kindled between them. All they can do is move forward. But against broken adults and devastating despair, how long will they be able to keep going...? Find out in this poignant tale from JH, author of the acclaimed Korean comic The Boxer. Review: Great - Great Review: Excellent book! - I bought this book purely because of the cover, it really caught my eye and i just instantly liked it and i had to get it, first thing i thought was that the cover just looked so nice. I had no idea what i was going into with this book. So far book is about a little boy and a little girl travelling together in a world where it seems war has broken out and its chaotic. There isnt much dialogue which is quite nice because it adds to like the atmosphere and suspense for some things? i think it's done well, but because there isnt much dialogue in it, it is a quick book to read but you can always just appreciate the art. The art style is amazing i absolutely love it! I like how they try to express the characters emotions more than just their faces? (Idk if that makes sense haha) Personally i really enjoyed this book and i cant wait. Ive pre-ordered vol 2 and i seriously cannot wait to see what happens next! I need to know haha. I do really recommend giving this a read! Book condition: Im bit sad that my book has some little nicks and the coners are a little bent but for the bent corners im hoping having it between my other books will fix it. Thats all really.

A thought provoking masterpiece!
This one is special. It captivated me the first time I read it, with its dark and unrelenting tone and well realised characters. Absolutely superb, can't recommend enough!

Really powerful artwork.
A really powerful book, despite very few instances of dialogue it really manages to get the message across, definitely worth it for the unique art style alone. My only gripe with the book, whilst it feels like it would be very robust, mine started coming away down the middle, which means I'll likely only ever read it once and leave it on the shelf in fear of it coming apart. Compared to Vagabond which is 600 pages and very sturdy despite it's weight. Looking forward to the next volumes though.

Amazing book and great print
This has been one of my favorite books for some time now. I was over the moon to find that they finally released a physical version. It shipped very quickly. The packaging was okay but could have been better (only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5). Luckily it had no damage. As for the print quality, it seems perfect so far. No complaints. Am truly ecstatic to own a physical copy of this masterpiece. Can't wait for the second volume to release.

Get it!
The Horizon follows a boy and a girl struggling to survive in a war-torn world stripped of its humanity, unfolding through quiet, reflective moments that rely almost entirely on visual storytelling. With minimal dialogue, the imagery carries the emotional weight, creating a heavy, haunting atmosphere. That restraint makes it hit even harder, forcing you to sit with what’s happening instead of being guided by words. While reading, I couldn’t help but think about the state of the world beyond my own—how there are likely children experiencing similar horrors right now, which adds a deeply unsettling layer to the story. As it nears the end, it delivers a “harsh” moment you can sense coming, but not sure of what—the outcome is genuinely shocking and leaves you with a cliffhanger that pulls you straight into the next volume. I wouldn’t have expected a manhwa to hit that hard, but it absolutely does. P.S. as others have mentioned some of the art goes deep into the crease(gutter) of the book, opening the book wide may cause a page or two too come out. Do yourself a favor and invest in a 7 dollar small bottle of PVA book binding glue. It’s worth it as this book will be reread, do not let this detour you from getting this book, it is well worth the money and story.
