Works great and very easy to install at a great price

Easy to use and they look great! I just had my house remodeled and they are perfect in every room of my house, even in the bathroom above my shower. Brightness is adjustable so you can have warmer light or brighter light. I would buy again for sure. You can’t beat the quality for the price you pay.

I installed 20 of these replacing existing 6inch can lights. It would have been more simple to use the other Amico retrofit type with the screw-in adapter, however, I preferred the style of the trim and clip on these...a more time consuming install but I'm happy with the aesthetics. For any perfectionists- I recommend using a sander to sand a 1inch rim around the hole. This will enable the housing to lay completely flat to the ceiling giving it a real pro finished look. I used a Ryobi oscillating multi-tool with 120 grit and then hit the rim with a little paint. All of my light switches/dimmers are Legrand Adorne Touch and these lights dim down to what appears to even less than 5%. No flickering to report. One minor gripe- I'd prefer the color temperature to be on the outside of the Jbox instead of inside, but not a big deal. One minor suggestion- offer a version with a removable trim ring so that it can be easily painted to match the ceiling. These lights are very modern with its thin look and really easy to install.

These are very bright lights. If your ceilings are less than 9 feet high, I definitely recommend the use a dimmer. I tried installing these in my basement with 7 1/2 foot ceilings, and they were too bright to add onto on an existing circuit. The problem I have, is, if install a dimmer then it will also dim the pre- existing lights, which is not my intent. With 9 or 10 foot ceilings you may not need the dimmer. Build quality is excellent, and installation is straight forward. Excellent quality for the price, just make sure to plan on using a dimmer if you do not have high ceilings.

These lights are great. They are a great value and function fabulous. I have installed over a hundred in the last 2 years. I installed a little over 70 in my house 2 years ago, now putting 35 in my shop. At only 12 watts, they are very bright. You can even change the color or the white. We prefer the softer white at 3000k in the house, but I like the brighter white at 4000k in my shop. Best of all, you use less wire installing because 150 lights use only 1800 watts. Could put all 150 on one circuit if you wanted. Price is much better than big box stores. Install is 2 screws. Easy peesy. Can't go wrong with these, best of all ....no can needed.

I installed these throughout a house during a renovation. These are great! I really like the fact that you don't need a recessed Can in the ceiling, or a junction box since it comes with it's own. One note, our local codes require that the junction boxes be secured and the wire has support/strain relief within 6" of the box, so I screwed a board next to each light in the attic, secured the included junction box to the board, and added a staple for strain relief on the power supply romex wire. Easy peasy!
