Very good quality, easy to assemble, and very sturdy. The assembly instructions were the typical picture-type, and fairly clear. Once we got the pieces out of the box (and they were VERY well packaged) we could see how everything fit together. All we needed was a phillips screwdriver, the allen wrench for the main bolts was included. It went together in about 20 minutes. The water-protecting blue plastic liner fit like it was laser-measured for the box, which was great. It matches our other teak patio furniture and is just the right size for our lumbar pillows and our furniture covers. We'd buy it again.

First you must know: I did have to drill a few holes. With that being said - I couldn’t have purchased a deck box this nice looking for this price if it was perfect. I know some people won’t appreciate the missing holes at the bottom where the little wood support blocks attack to hold in the floor of the box - but if this piece was perfect it would probably cost $500 so I’m very happy. It’s not for everyone, I know. my husband would have probably thrown this in the trash after a baby fit but he has no patience. If you are like me and 1% of the population and don’t mind putting together ikea furniture this is a smokin’ deal for you. Fix yourself a cocktail or roll some of your finest and grab your drill and build yourself a sweet little deck box made of very pretty acacia wood. *note about blue lining : yes…. It’s a blue lining and not very fabulous looking but you can leave this out if you want. That will delete the weather proofing option but you won’t have to see a hint of blue if that bothers you. My initial thought was to leave it out but after I assembled the box and saw how nicely it fit inside with thoughtfully placed Velcro etc I had more appreciation for it and wanted the full integrity of the original design which includes weather resistance. If you have some patience and a power drill I highly recommend this for the price, you simply can not beat it. I paid almost twice this much for a shower stool because weather resistant wood is expensive. Good luck ☺️

Looks great and serves its purpose, we did install it outdoors but protected from the rain by a porch. I would not install it somewhere fully open, it does come with a weatherproof bag though. The hydraulic system for the covers works great but the hinges are weak and the bolts are too close to the edge. While installing the stay-in mechanism I got distracted by something, let go off the cover (dumb me) and the cover went back, the hinge was under stress for literally a millisecond, the bolts are very close to the edge, so it ripped the wood right open, we fixed it and all but I just do not think the hinges are very robust and whatever you say do not allow for the covers to fully open accidentally before you install the stay in mechanism. i feel that element should be a little thicker but is good value for money.

The storage box was assembled with minimal cussing. That is always a plus! It is used to store outdoor furniture covers and as an end table on the covered patio. It looks attractive and fulfills the purpose for which it was intended. I did treat the wood with an oil-based product to prevent drying. Arizona heat does not treat wood kindly.

I bought this item based on it being water proof. I put it together and 3 days later we had a 2 day rainfall. I didnt think to check the box until a few days after the rain, but the items I had in it were ruined. Not only does the rain come into the bag, but then the bag stores it and your items will be soaked and ruined. I tried to contact this company. I sent pictures and offered to send video of my damaged items. They are refusing to refund me. And even if I return it they are saying if it's not in perfect condition they refuse the return. I am not sure how I am supposed to unbuild and return a defective item in perfect condition. I am very unhappy and have reported this company to amazon. I bought two items from them and it cost be over $1000 for these two boxes. So I am now out $1000. I am very disappointed in the product and the customer service. Buyer beware.

This is box is not going to last 30 yrs., but it doesn't cost $500. I'm a cabinetmaker and I wouldn't build it like this, but like the shoemakers children I had no time to make one for us. It's not really solid in the sense that you can sit on it, but it holds a lot inside. It went together very easily, maybe 30 min. tops, all the holes aligned. I drilled one hole deeper because the screw was a tight fit and I did want to split the wood. The blue liner fit perfectly and kept the contents dry in torrential rains. I might tweak it to make it last longer, but it's good as is. I DON'T KNOW WHAT ALL YOU FOLKS ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT! Nice storage box and a great value for the price. PS: After torrential rains, when you lift the lid, one hell of a lot of water pours down the back edge of the lid - surprise!

Overall I give this a passing grade. I’m a senior person with only hand tools so having to deal with missing screw holes was a challenge. I had to hand drill 4 holes to be able to attach 4 small pieces of wood at the bottom of the box that will eventually hold the bottom in place.

Great product. Very happy with it. We’re using it outside as a parcel drop off and it seems to be working.

Easy to assemble, good quality. Like other reviewers mention, there are some predrilled holes missing, but nothing that is too difficult with a strudy screwdriver. The quality and sturdiness of the wood suggest it will be long lasting and relatively waterproof - I will look to update this review after the winter months! Well packaged and delivered within 4 days of ordering.

Sieht sehr schön aus und passt auf den Balkon. Nur die Größe stimmt nur für den Deckel - es sind seitlich je 5 cm Überstand!!! Ging gerade so, dass ich 2 Wechselrichter mit Speicher einsetzen konnte.

Att den inte levereras till bostaden utan jag fick hämta 16 kg i en ica butik. Inte någonstans framgick det. Jag skulle lämna portkoden????? Varför om jag fick hämta på ICA

Bought this for interior storage of wine, sturdy once assembled, easy to assemble, looks attractive, the wine fits it a treat, would look nice outside as extra seating if that’s what you’re looking for. Recommended.
