I had been taking Omeprazole for several years due to horrible GERD. My labs on kidney function ocer a 5 year time of watching them by my primary care doc saw a steady decline in kidney function. To the point of sending me to a Nephrologist. Who immediately said stop taking the Omeprazole because it damages kidneys. Since then has been a daily hell. Everything caused GERD to kick in and it was almost daily. Nothing helped except the one thing I couldn't take. Until this!! I happened to run across this on Amazon on accident. I wasn't looking for it. When it said Amish I knew it warranted checking out. Before bed last night the acid was bubbling up in my throat as usual. I grabbed the bottle. Opened then smelled it. Got scared 😱 LOL It smells rough!! I put a tablespoon in some plain water and got a straw. Thinking slam it with a straw and hopefully not taste it. Well I did taste it. It was not good. Not horrible. Just not good. What was WONDERFUL was thaf it took me about 15 minutes to get everything settled before making it to the bed. ALL symptoms were Gone. To say I was shocked would be an understatement. Not only was it gone, it stayed gone all night. Not once did I wake up wanting to throw up like I normally had been doing from the acid almost nightly. Fast forward to late afternoon today. I ate something spicy. Yhe acid started building up. This time I mixed a tablespoon with some very weak grape flavored water. It was good this time! I love pickled beets. This had a slight flavor of the pickled beets. No straw used either. Acid gone within minutes and still gone. Buy this if you suffer from reflux or frequent heartburn. This stores in the fridge after opening. Stop taking meds that cause kidney failure.

well, I’ve gone through half 16 ounce bottle and it has eased up but the acid reflect is still there and it’s still pretty bad not as bad as it was because I was in constant pain. So how long is this stuff supposed to take start working?

Highly recommend this if you suffer from frequent heartburn. I will admit the taste is kind of.. Well not the best. However, if you like apple cider vinegar, then we can agree to a disagree. I will say you do get used to it and it works extremely fast and extremely well, at least for me. I believe it is great value for your money, the texture is very smooth. I just wish the flavor was lol.. I have purchased at least five of these bottles at different times. This will continue to be my go to for heartburn.

I was SO skeptical this would just taste disgusting and not help anything. I took my first dose tonight when my acid reflux started acting up, and it immediately alleviated the always dreaded feeling of impending acid vomit! Definitely did not taste good just drinking it straight, but maybe worth the awful taste of not diluting it if it works this fast
