This pot is really excellent. Well made, the lid fits perfectly, it's nice and compact and it's aluminium so light and easy to pick up for transfer from hob to oven. The non stick finish is great and the heat transfers well across the whole pot when on the hob. The handles are not detachable, so they do get hot. I chose the red colour and it looks really lovely. I am very happy with my purchase. I think it's great value for money.

Nice light pot but sturdy & cooks my casseroles, chicken & curries etc so tender. Tested it with a pot roast & it was delicious. Then so easy so clean afterwards. I like the fact it has good handles I can grip. I have an Aga as well as a conventional oven & the pot is really good in both.

I absolutely love this pan! I had been looking for a wide, shallow pan that I could use in the oven (including the lid) for a while. Most seem to have lids that aren't oven proof. I've got cast iron skillets I put in the oven but I'm reluctant to cook with tomatoes in those as the acid strips the hard-won seasoning off. Plus mine don't have lids. I'd saved this pan in my wishlist then got a notification that it was on offer. It was a substantial discount so I decided to take the risk and buy it. I'm really glad I did, and I've used it almost daily since it arrived. I've cooked, amongst other things, fried fish, curries, stew and dumplings, and oven baked dishes in it. I also poached a large quantity of quinces in it for the freezer. Absolutely nothing sticks, it's a doddle to clean, and it's light to use. The non-stick coating is safe. Yes, the handles get hot, I've seen reviews that complain about that but I don't know why anyone would expect that not to happen. Use oven gloves, and always assume any part of a pan that's been used on a hob or in the oven is going to be hot. The instructions say not to use metal cooking utensils in the pan which seems like good advice and I'm following it. I'll definitely consider other pans in this range in the future. My only niggle would be that it doesn't get as hot as an iron or steel pan so wouldn't be good for something like stir-fry, but I've got a wok for that anyway.

This is the best pot I've ever owned. It looks smart and very heavy but is in fact very light. However, it cooks superbly either on the hob or in the oven. It is also very easy to clean. I really can't praise it enough and would recommend it everyone.

I adore this pan. I can't say enough good about it. I've looked on longingly at my neighbor cooking with dutch ovens and the versatility of these types of pans. Unfortunately, I do not have the arm strength to lift a large size cast iron pan and lid, let alone when it is filled with food. I've been searching for a lighter weight version but have been very skeptical to purchase an aluminum one as I assumed it would be an inferior quality and not as versatile. Boy, was I WRONG. I love cooking in this because of the high sides of pan. It really reduced splattering. The food cooks evenly. I love that I can use on top of the stove and in the oven (even with the lid). The weight is truly much lighter and I can lift the pan with one hand when it's not full of food. Clean up has been a complete breeze and nothing is sticking so far (and no stain in the bottom that you can sometimes get in a light colored enameled cast iron pan). The red color is very attractive in my kitchen and I can leave it out on top of stove when not in use. If you always wanted a dutch oven but can't lift do to the weight of cast iron, give this pan a try. You won't be disappointed.

Love the light color in the kitchen. Get complinents on the of white color. I bought more and replaced all my “old” pans with of white color ones.

I LOVE this pan - tbh when it first arrived I had misread the description and was expecting a cast iron pan! Am I glad I did because this pan is FANTASTIC!! it heats evenly, is super light, and what a fabulous color too - the non stick is one of the best I have had - in fact I love it so much I have just bought its big brother lol
