Yes, there are brackets that attach the individual pieces together.

I wouldn’t say it is small. Height from the ground, it probably stands right over 3 ft. It is comfortable though and customizable which is the main reason I went for it.

Is 26.4" the seat depth or the overall couch depth? It is listed as both.
