EXCELLENT heat shrink for solar power battery bank 2/0 cables!
EXCELLENT heat shrink. I use a lot of heat shrink for my custom battery cables (2/0) in my solar power system. This tubing shrinks down well with my mini-butane torch and doesn't fragment.PROS:- Price- Fast delivery- Quality- Thick enough for 4/0 cablesCONS:- Comes packed folded with creases...have to cut out those creases- Does Install Bay sell RED 3/4" 3M tubing- Petroleum odor when shrinking...not horrible, but stinksBOTTOM LINE:- A must buy...buy more than you think you need. I ended up buying 4 feet at a time and keep ordering more.

Works perfectly, seems fairly rugged
No complaints with this heat shrink tubing. It does exactly as it is advertised to do, my repairs went quick. If you don't have a heat gun a lighter does the trick very nice as well.

Totally as expected...would buy again
This tubing is great. Only way it could be better is if it was clear, but I doubt that is possible and still maintain the material quality. It is naked on the inside. No slip or stick which I loved. It shrinks well. It is pliable. It opens up and accepts wires well.I first bought some clear stuff that came in a roll. It was so stiff, that I couldn't get it to open up to accept feeding wire.I will totally buy this again.

most expensive shrink tube youll ever buy
This can be purchased elsewhere for pennies per foot. I had a company credit card, needed some shrink tube, and had to know if - for $2+ per foot- this was some super fantastic shrink tube. Nope, it isnt. Its eligible for prime though...

This dresses up my audiophile cables and computer custom cables
I've used this for all sorts of things and when a professional dressed connection or repair is needed this in the right size works great. Remember that most tubing shrinks about half it's open size and can make a semi water tight connection if not completely water tight.

doesn't shrink
It shrinks but not by much. I'm only guessing but 20% shrinkage would be a lot. Does not shrink like the old Radio Shack product.

Works for me!
Worked perfectly for the hitch mounted generator/toolbox I'm building. Cut it down to 24-1/2" and attached with rivets. Plenty leftover for a future project. Will see how it holds up to the elements.
