I have the world’s scratchiest cat. Love her to death but she and I moved in with my partner and kitty went about destroying the fabric dining room chairs and my partner’s favorite living room chair. Can’t believe it took me months to think of looking for a spray. I sprayed all the scratched surfaces (does smell nice and the smell fades quickly) and the result was instant—no more scratching AT ALL (though she still sits on the chairs, which is good). After 10 days I saw her scratch once, so sprayed everything again. I think the bottle will last for months at this rate—a good deal for 8 bucks. I get that it doesn’t work for all cats, which is a bummer. Definitely thought it wouldn’t work for us, but it seems we got lucky. Wish they made a spray for begging at the dinner table like a damn dog ;-)

It's a miracle this product doesn't have more 1 star reviews. Directly after spraying two pieces of furniture (and literally while it was still wet), my cat walked up and performed her usual destruction regime. Applied two more "coats", still absolutely zero effect . I might be going mad, but it even appears that those furniture pieces are MORE attractive than before.

My cat was going absolutely insane on my couch. This genuinely stopped her, I was hesitant with some reviews, but trust me my 8 month old stops with this. The only comment I have is that it’s a very strong scent and it doesn’t smell the greatest. I would recommend this to all cat parents, easy to use just have to reapply every once and awhile, but the scent doesn’t stick forever!

Pleasant potpourri scent for the humans. Seemed to keep most of the cats (2 of 3) away from the couch. I will say that for the high price, the quality of the spray bottle should be much better. The original leaks every time it's used. Suggest pouring contents into a Dollar Tree bottle for ease of application.

Bottle leaks when you try to spray, got the chemical all over me every time. Spread it in the areas that my cats would scratch but they still seemed to scratch my furniture still.

Finally, something that works. I replaced my furniture. I didn't want my cats to scratch it like the old. I wanted something that wasn't sticking to the furniture. This is easy to use. No leakage on the spray. It has a pleasant scent, it wears off quickly. It left no stain or discoloration on the fabric.

The pump is kind of crappy and leaks while you spray. My cat loves to scratch so it didn’t deter him at all. It did not stain so it might still be worth a shot for your cat. The smell is strong at first but fades quickly.

Spray it directly onto furniture legs and fabric. Doesn't leave stains and it doesnt smell bad at all. (My cats now use a large scratch post and my furniture)....& no more scratches!

I was very sceptical but so far so good ,my little terror has not as yet ripped my new lounge.Fingers crossed it keeps working 😊🤞

We have a cat who always scratches on the wrong things. We moved and she started scratching on our brand new carpet and I was desperate to save it. Sprayed a bit of this spray on her favourite spot (the top steps) and lo and behold! She stopped scratching immediately. She didn’t try again for 2 whole weeks, and then I reapplied and she’s been avoiding them again. Works amazing especially considering she used to scratch there every 10 min before! Smells a little like tea tree oil and cloves so not a bad smell, and the smell dissipates quickly. Best $10 ever spent - telling all my friends who have cats about this I also used this brand’s catnip spray on our cat’s new scratching post and she’s been m using it ever since instead of the steps, so I recommend using both sprays together for max effect

Did not work at all for 4 cats. 1 cat started scratching the area the day after it was sprayed and all 4 cats have played and slept on the area within 24 hours of spraying. It may work for your cats as other reviews have indicated but the essential oils seem to only have attracted my cats to the area more. The spray stream comes out quite strong and doesn't have a wide and fine spray so when using on fabric/linens it can leave blotchy marks (we tried on a blanket). The smell wasn't too offensive to me as some other reviews have indicated but it definitely does leave an essential oil type smell so if you are sensitive to those types of smell you may not enjoy this product.
