Durable Winter Work Gloves with Full Deerskin Suede Leather for Extreme Cold Condition (SD8676T)

No matter what gloves I would use while clearing snow with my snow blower and shovel, my fingers would always get cold and numb. It would be uncomfortable and I would have to waste time having to stop to warm them. Not this last blizzard! Received the mittens just in time. Despite being out there in the windy, snowy cold for four continuous hours, my fingers NEVER got cold! Occasionally a thumb would get cold, but it was easy to simply slip it out into the finger section and curl my warm fingers around it for a few seconds. The leather is soft, comfortable, and strong. Wrist cuff keeps out cold and snow. Great purchase, wish I thought of this sooner!

Ordered both the mittens and gloves. The Mittens: The mittens are soft suede leather outers, with polyester pile inner. The wrist elastic seals out any wind well past the wrist because the lower part of the mitten extends a bit up the arm. Insides are warm and there's room for the fingers to wiggle to help circulation and shared heat. They are sewn in a way that gives them a bit of a natural curl inward which is how your hands would normally be if left hanging at your sides. The only negative is that they feature a clasp to keep them hooked together when not in use. This is basically useless as it's very small, hard to open, and cheap plastic. In fact, the pair I got only had a 'D' ring on one mitten only. Not a big deal as I wouldn't use that anyhow. But the one mitten that does have it, you can tell it's cheap plastic and would likely break if used. For that, I have to take a star away. The Gloves: The gloves are similarly made but they don't have elastic around the wrists. Too bad as it's needed. For working outside in the cold weather, these seem to be acceptable. But they would not be good for any activity where your hands might be 'in' snow (sledding, skiing, etc.). Your wrists will get wet, and then cold. They feature the same polyester pile insides. I usually take a 'large' size and these fit a bit snug around the fingers. The thumb was fine comparatively speaking. I'm guessing that as I wear them, they will compress down inside the fingers. Similar issue with the clasp. I thought it was also missing a D ring for the clasp but, in fact, it had broken off of the base that was sewn into the glove. So it was still attached to the clasp on the other glove. Again, I won't be using that feature so it's not a big deal. But if they go to the effort to add this, they'll need to redo the design and materials so that it's usable. Because if this is common, it's a complete failure on their part. I don't plan of being too rough with them so they should last. But time will tell and if they fail too soon, I'll update my review. But in the meantime, no news is good news.

These work great. We got them just before he last snow storm. I had them out shoveling snow as the temperature dropped well below zero with wind chill. It was cold enough that ice formed on top of the gloves from the blowing snow. Hands were warm the entire time. Thick leather was great for working and protecting hands. Highly recommend.

Great gloves for upper peninsula Michigan wore them in -20 no problems plenty of room for hand warmers but honestly with the hand warmers they are actually a bit too warm.

Got these just in time for the sub-zero weather in Wisconsin. Bonus was they were on sale when I ordered them! I've worn them in -15 degree weather and they keep my hands warm. Very soft inside. Love the cuff as it keeps the cold wind from seeping in. Wish the color were more brown but I'll take warmth over fashion. I got the size large and it's definitely roomy inside but with the roominess I can easily put rechargeable hand warmers inside to really make it toasty inside (like an igloo for my hands!) Nice quality stitching. The plastic tabs that you could use to link the mittens together aren't flexible enough to make it easy to use -- not a deal breaker for me.

Suede leather gets wet fast. Large size fits my medium hand rather tight. Cuts off blood so hands get cold.

Excellent value for a great pair of mitts. There are comfortable and warm.

Christmas present for my husband. I bought these for him for snow blowing and he loves them. They are great quality and very warm and supple. I would buy again.

These mits are beautiful (as much as mittens can be!)! Last night, I shovelled in -12 celcius weather and my hands were warm the whole time. Added bonus - the leather is nice and soft. I haven't yet sprayed them for waterproofing yet they stood up well when I was shovelling.

They are bad, like really bad. At first, you place your hands in them and you think they will protect you from the cold and they actually do, they are quite comfy and do protect you from the cold... at first. As you wear them more and more, you suddenly realize that the material inside is flattening, it was fluffy when you got it but more and more all that material retreats and you have a huge amount of empty space where your hands are covered by the mittens. I'm sorry but they cost be 45$ but these things are not worth 20$.

I ordered these after Costco stopped carrying their deer skin work gloves. They are not as waterproof, but they’ll do the job. I wish they had cuffs as opposed to the open wrist. But I’m happy with them for driving and general use in our shoulder seasons. Not warm enough for outings below -5*C.
