Great when you need a wide spread of light.
While I wouldnt really say this is waterproof I love the wide spread of light it gives which is great for walking about in the woods, working in the dark etc when all you need is your immediate area illuminated and don't want to have to keep turning your head like a searchlight to spot things. I have 4 of these now for all the family and the hinge is a bit weak on one, hence the 4 stars. I also got my work to buy 10 more for our engineers as cheap work lights and they also love them (especially for the price).

Bright
Good head torch clear bright light. Used every day on holiday in Lapland where we only had 2hours daylight a day. Also very handy in power cuts.

So good, I'm ordering another. Not used with the dogs yet but like my other cobs this gives a nice spread in the dark so it's not like a torch's narrow spot.
