CLOVER Magnet Pin Caddy, Bordeaux, 4 Height x 31 Length x 1.4 Width

I have had several pin caddies throughout my many years of sewing; but this is my favorite one. This is actually my second purchase because I liked the first one so much. I have one for the Clover Fine Quilting Pins and a second one for the Clover Red Flower Head pins I also recently bought that I also keep the few remaining Blue Flower Head pins I purchased a couple of years back with my first Clover Magnet Pin Caddy. I love the color and that this pin caddy does not come apart when it is accidentally dropped or knocked off the table. Yes, the pins do scatter when this happens, but they are easy to pick up with the strong magnet. And I also like that the magnet in this holder is not overpowering thus making it hard to remove the pins either. The Plastic Cover slips on and off easily. I like keeping one in my small sewing basket to place thread snips when hand tying the Bedcovers and Heart Pillows for the local Hospice House Veterans; and the second lid I keep in my larger sewing basket to keep my sewing tape secured in when going to the Club House to cut out more projects. the Caddies also stack nicely with the lids on them. A super great product and the quality it unbelievable. I would have liked a second color for the caddy, but the pins are easy to distinguish which goes on which caddy.

This is so amazing. I can keep about 50-75 magic pins safely on it at a time. I might be able to fit more but I would worry about getting poked when getting a pin off it. It keeps them secure and saves so much time and energy while picking up and replacing pins vs the traditional pin cushion! It seems a little pricey for what it does but is well worth it!!

I’m not going to lie, I was a little skeptical about ordering this pin caddy. All of my other pin caddies have issues with the pins not lining up in a desired pile on the magnet. It’s irritating to attempt to pick up a pin just to get stuck. I read the reviews of this on caddy and after debating whether or not to order, I just did it. The caddy came packaged exactly as seen in the advertised photo. The extra pins that came with this caddy were laying flat and lined up. So began my test. I started putting pins on this caddy. Surprisingly, the pins all lined up just as the reviews described. I was very pleasantly pleased. I then placed as many pins as I could. There is a threshold to the number of pins though. I added a many more pins and the they started to stick out and not lay flat to the caddy. I removed the majority of the pins I added, just to see what would happen, and all of the pins started laying flat again. I will be buying a few more of these caddies to have so I can put around my sewing room. I would highly recommend this caddy since it actually does work as advertised.

The product is well made, and does what it's supposed to do. I like that it has a lid, and it keeps the pins enclosed. My only issue with the product is that I must get someone else to open it for me. The lid fits very tightly, and it's too hard for me to open. Hopefully, over time the lid will loosen up and I will be able to open it on my own.

This truly is the best pin option I have ever had.

Finally a pin caddy that holds my pins well without me worrying of loosing pins or getting pricked by pins in my sewing bins. I’ve had several magnetic pin caddies and none of them came with a lid. In my opinion, no matter how strong the magnet is, a lid is a must. This clover version is awesome, not only it has a lid but it also aligns all the pins in the same direction and as the description claims, it is much easier grabbing pins. The magnet itself is strong enough. I would say it is stronger than my other pin caddies but not as strong as the magnetic caddies designed to hold bolts and screws. I am so happy with this product that I am replacing all my pin caddies with this one.

Amazing little item. Not only does it have a strong magnet to pick up your pins, it places them together in a neat stack so you can easily pick one up. Use it to "sweep" your sewing area to pick up loose pins. I also found that as you sew you can kind of "toss" the pins in the direction of the caddy as you pull them out and they go right in place. I loved this item so much I bought two more so I have one at each of my sewing stations. I would highly recommend this item. BTW, Hobby Lobby sells their version of this pin caddy and it works ok, but it's not as good as the Clover.

I really like this pin cushion. The magnetic is strong. I love that all the pins line up so they're easy to pick up without getting jabbed. I also like the cover. It helps keep my pins from getting loose in my bag when I go to retreats. I highly recommend this pin cushion.

The magnet is only in the middle so all the pins are bunched up in the middle making it difficult to pick one up. I like having the lid but that’s it.

The magnet works great but the lid is useless because once it's on it's VERY difficult to remove. I tried sanding down the ridges on the lid but that didn't help. It is also surprisingly heavy for its size, not fit for a travel kit.
