L8star 16.4ft RGB LED Neon Rope Light with Remote Control, Smart Color Changing DIY Mode Neon Flex Strip Lights for Bedroom Indoors Outdoors Decor

I bought several of these to try out for my music room and game room. I love the colors, the remote, and the ability to link all the ropes together on my phone digitally and run them from there. One of my ropes died unexpectedly, no rhyme or reason. Potentially just a fluke. I contacted the customer service department. Gave them the proof they needed. They were quick to resolve my issue, I’ve been using all my ropes for various events and parties. I love them. Pros- easy to set up, easy to sync to phone, cheaper than most out there, good customer service if anything happens. Cons- the end caps have a little difficult staying on, but if you have a hot glue gun or super glue you could fix it if it bothers you. I haven’t had to do anything, the clips could be better potentially but for what they are they work.

Seemed to work fine before i put it up on the wall but after installation (which was a pain in the butt with how small the screws are,) the first thing you notice is just how bright it is. You can dim it, but it might just decide to revert back to bright in a flash. Will randomly flash to a different color even when you didn't touch anything or even have the remote in your hand. Will randomly decide to strobe. They get HOT. The colors on the remote don't correlate very well with the ones displayed. The app that is supposed to control the thing DOESN'T WORK. Can't even turn the lights on with it. Overall a huge waste of time. Looks good but basically unusable so now I just have a "statement piece" on my wall I suppose because I barely missed the window to return. Save yourself the headache!!

*photo review disclaimer: the top lights by the ceiling are this product. The lights are great. Someone in a different review said to use an adhesive strip on the back of the lights because it’s easier to mount that way, but I found that didn’t work for me or at least with my wall so I had to use the tiny little screws which were a bit finicky, but still easy to install. I’ve had them for over a month now and they are great. However, one time they sort of like glitched out and it looked like there was a rave being thrown in my room. They were blinking every millisecond, but I just reset the color in the app and it was fine. Personally, I don’t use the remote control because why would I when there is an app on my phone that can control it. Overall I am very pleased; there are more expensive versions of this so I was hesitant to buy it thinking it might be cheaper quality but so far so good. Very impressed

Several different choices for the way the lights come alive with great colors. Fun, too! Am enjoying them on back porch when weather is nice.

Not as bright as I wish but still working a couple months later

This is pretty neat! It looks like real neon and really brightens up a room. The remote is handy but the app is awesome with tons of color options and the ability to change with your music or the microphone on the device itself or your phone. It is very bright but you also have the option to dim it on the remote and app. For the price, I’m very happy with this. The only thing is the hooks it comes with to hang it up aren’t the best. Plus I rent, so I want minimal holes in the wall. I bought some double sided command strips that were the more “heavy duty” and used that to put it up rather than put the screws in my wall or have the obvious command hooks holding it up. Works great and I’ve had no issues.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Bought this exact light two years ago and what they send now is a completely different AND INFERIOR product. Looks extremely cheap and barely works. Do not waste your time purchasing. Just received it and already returning it.

While it works, it's kinda dim (possibly due to the inherent light dispersal) and "randomly" turns off. The app is also sketchy to download. I use the remote, so it doesn't really bother me, but if that was a selling point to you, there you go.
