Stainless Steel Dough Hook Attachment for KitchenAid 4.5-5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer

This dough hook works perfectly, and the price point is an absolute steal. It fit my KitchenAid tilt‑head mixer with no issues and handles dough exactly as expected. This is PERFECT! It is solid stainless steel, unlike the leaking aluminum Kitchenaid version, fits my mixer bowl perfectly, and is great for mixing very firm doughs. Absolute 5 star version compared to Kitchenaid.

I've been using a KitchenAid tilt-head mixer for decades. My current plastic-coated dough hook finally started to peel, as they and the beater hooks always eventually do. This new stainless steel model came today, and it is a thing of functional beauty. Heavier in weight than the coated aluminum ones, of course, but that doesn't seem to be a problem at all. It kneaded my pizza dough with ease just now. Be sure to get this model, as it looks almost (or exactly) like the KA branded one, and the price is excellent. (Some other models have an upward lip on the disk, which others have commented catches flour and other ingredients added to the mixer bowl.)

One of the best additions to my Kitchen Aid! I have the 4.5 quart tilt head mixer and this works perfectly. I got rid of the white hook it came with in favor of this one after using it a few times. It's easier to clean & more sustainable. I've had it for over a year now and it shows absolutely no signs of wear. I purchased my mom and my sister one too!
