What does the Double Action in the name refer to?

Gaviscon Double Action provides dual relief from heartburn and indigestion symptoms and is formulated to work in two ways. It creates a protective barrier to help soothe the burning sensation in your chest, and neutralises excess stomach acid.

How much Gaviscon Double Action is too much?

If you take too much Gaviscon it is unlikely to cause you much harm although you may feel bloated. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if this feeling does not go away. Always read the information in the patient information leaflet.

What are the side effects?
