Yes you can. You Need to take Out the fastening straps And plastic regulator wheel At The bottom. Please note that if the wall is not well balanced you must not put the brackets into a recess as the pot might not slot in. Best is to fit the brackets in the pot and look how much space needed for the pot to slide. Additionally as the pot needs to travel a slotted distance you Must have enough clearance from the top of the bracket

Yes they do ,but you need to check the pitch of the bars to see if the flower pot will fit with the hangers. You should be able to gauge this by the flower pot as they have the holes where you attach the hangers.Hope this is some help

What width of rail can these be used on? My rail is approx 4cm wide, will they work?

yes they should work, the hangers are held on to the rail by "webbing belts" and can be adjusted to suit.
