Ironside Post Mount Mailbox

Very well built. Exceptionally bombproof. Getthis box if hoodlems vandalize your standard thickness mailbox.Very good looking semigloss black.Easy to install to wood post by screwing a board (i used a scrap board of Royal Vinyl) after cutting to the width af the underside of toe mailbox. Then set the mailbox on top of the mounted board and screw the mailbox into the board. You should probably drill pilot holes for ease oof screwing.

Nothing to complain about with this mailbox, it's:- Easy to install.- Heavy-duty. I've purchased other mailboxes that bent, because the metal was so thin - not with this one!- Includes hardware to install to your post.- Not cheap, but definitely worth the price.- Highly functional with a strong magnet, smooth hinges on the door and flag.

Got what I expected and no issues. Slightly larger than my original so it fits some deliveries better. Strong feel. Door opens to straight down position unlike my last one which is neither good or bad.

Definitely recommend. Heavy duty. I got the large and it is great

Very sturdy mailbox, but highly disappointed that it did not have mounting screws.

This mailbox is very heavy duty, Thick steel, metal flag, ss hardware for flag hinge and rest. Adiquate room on the inside. Magnet is secure. There is a housing overhang over the door to reduce damage and shade from rain/ice. Very satisfied.

Really solid construction and heavy!!
