I have always found OtterBox reliable for protecting my devices. The rubber parts do wear out over time and I often work with harsh chemicals that don't help either. They usually last several years before I need to replace them. I'm not a guy that chases the latest tech everytime something newer hits the market.

Fits well, the openings are right where they should be. Glad it doesn't have opening covers, don't need or want them. I did add a tempered glass screen protector. I like the green color. I set the phone background to "teal" theme, and it works well in combo. Almost feels like a new phone. I like that the phone doesn't feel much larger, still fits in my pocket just fine. I've dropped my phone many times, and lucky it never broke. Now I have at least some extra protection.

As advertised as delivered

I had already used this kind of case for a different Galaxy-line phone before, and as soon as I bought a new Galaxy phone, I bought another case like this to fit it. Here's something important: it comes with an inner part that is rubber or rubber-like. It also comes with an outer part that is hard plastic, and the two pieces are completely detachable, but they fit together. I don't like the hard outer part, because together with the rubber inner part the whole thing adds too much bulk to my phone, and I carry my phone in my front pocket. I only use the rubber inner part. I don't really know what value the outer hard plastic part adds. Using just the rubber inner part, I find that the sides are grippy enough so I don't drop my phone. I'm sure you would agree that most smartphones are as slippery as a wet bar of soap. With the rubber cover, it's not slippery. Also---and this is something I especially love---the rubber inner cover comes with a hole right in the middle of the back part. (This hole isn't there in the hard plastic outer cover.) I use one of those extendable popper things on the back of my phone and fit it right through the hole. It's the perfect size. The popper is glued directly to my phone, but it sticks out through the hole. It's fairly easy to do. You just take the popper apart in two pieces and hold the glue-on part together with the rubber case as you apply the case to the back side of the phone. Then, after it is glued on and the rubber case is on, you apply the outer part of the popper to put it back together. The resulting case-and-popper design is very easy to hold and it's resistant to dropping. I've never had a broken screen---not because it's durable against dropping (though maybe it is) but because I just never drop it. Note, however, that if you apply a popper *through* the rubber case as I have described above, it is nearly impossible to remove the outer/top part of the popper again except by sheer force. You can of course just pull it off by force, which may destroy the popper. Pressing and turning it doesn't work. So don't do this and expect to easily change popper tops according to your mood. It's a chore to change it, and you might destroy the popper in the process.

I sold the case and phone years ago and I am just realizing that I never gave a review. Nice and durable.

The case's layers have glove-like fits and a combination of rigidity and resilience that seems to be quite optimal. The case also allows all phone interfaces to be as easily accessed as they would be in its absence. It's slightly different from my old Motorola Moto G Play 2021 variant in that its surfaces are somewhat rougher, and its edges are somewhat more squared off, so it's easier to hold despite being slightly larger. There is also an added hole (having a 1-cm diameter, roughly) at the center of the inner layer that interfaces with a raised annular region on the harder exterior. Perhaps it contributes to the interlayer performance of the case or could allow the hard exterior to damage the phone through direct contact under certain conditions; I don't know, but I believe the consequences aren't significant. I would certainly recommend this product to someone who wants to protect their phone from falls under eight feet in height. I bought it in like-new condition directly from Amazon for less than half the new cases' price, and it was in flawless condition.

Honestly, I'm clueless about the finger print reader 'thing' but I won't take points off for something I can't evaluate since the user doesn't use that feature. I bought this when I replaced a phone for a homeless friend (recently in his own apartment). The gentleman has some dexterity issues so I wanted to make sure the phone wasn't going to end up with severely cracked screens as his old phone had. So the Otterbox and a tempered glass screen seemed the way to go. To my knowledge the phone has only been dropped once and that was in my presence. There was no damage of any kind. I was concerned about the 'lite' rating of this version of Otterbox but my son uses one and drops his phone quite often during his work and has never had an issue with screen damage since switching over to using these cases. That's about as much actual experience that I have with this line of product. I really do like the woodsy green color of the case and it feels good to hold. The rubbery edges of the interior portion of the case help my grip feel secure as opposed to some solid hard cases that tended to tire my hand as I held them. The price point is reasonable considering the product's reputation

OtterBox is awesome, I think everyone already knows that by now. This green is a very nice color and this item is typical high-quality OtterBox.

The case fit my A14 easily, and the phone seems secure and well protected. The material that the OtterBox is made from seems to be top tier, and I think it is unlikely to split or crack.

I use Otterbox for my S21 5G Ultra and I am always going to buy Otterbox cases for all the other phones I have. They withstand shocks from drops and are quite durable. Would be cool if they came in other colors like pink, purple, blue or something. The case was for a girl and she doesn't like Black but settled for green, she would have liked blue or purple.
