It’s a very good quality Mike, which isolates the unwarranted voices. But to use it you should have mac otherwise its like impossible to use in windows laptop.

There is no complaints about the product. Rode Nt 1 5gen is flawless. Only the seller sent me a already opened product. Please refer the photos. Other wise could have been a 5 star experience.

I initially received a non-working microphone, so I requested a replacement. Instead of fixing the issue, the replacement arrived damaged, cheap, and not even in its original box—definitely not the product I paid for. The quality and handling were both unacceptable. Customer service and quality control need serious improvement. Would not recommend based on my experience.

Capsule problem is there

Friends, with great excitement and happiness, I opened the pack of my rode nt1 5th generation mic and connected it to my computer with a USB cable and then I realized that the mic was not getting power from the usb. I even tried changing the cable but to no avail. Then I connected it to the audio interface of maono and despite increasing the gain completely, the sound coming from the mic was not audible. Then I connected the mic to lewitt's audio interface where I got sound. The quality seemed decent to me but this mic did not fulfill the purpose for which I had bought it, which was dual connectivity. So my experience was not so good with this mic, maybe your experience will be good.

Very good microphone… sounds very clear

After a journey of trying out multiple microphones over the past couple of years, you will never find a microphone that does its job better than the RODE NT1 5th Generation. In addition to it's USB and XLR versatility, not much is needed to make it sound great! Most microphones at higher price brackets are known to have their weaknesses, typically being a weak high-end which makes the sound muddy, but thanks to the frequency response, you only need to tame the 5th editions' by a couple of decibels to flatten the sound for greater accuracy... While the SM6 shock mount that came with could be better (mine's pop-filter was built slightly off-axis, which makes tilting a little difficult), the amount of kit you are getting with the price is a no-brainer; All that's left is a stand, which is easy to come by... Especially if you're starting off, the RODE NT1 5th Generation is by far the most reliable condenser you can get your hands on, coming from someone who isn't a professional by any means but who is inspired to get into media creation...

The RØDE NT1 5th Generation has been an excellent addition to my home studio setup. I mainly use it for vocal recording and other studio recording purposes, and the overall sound quality and flexibility of this microphone have impressed me. One of the biggest advantages of this microphone is its dual connectivity. I can use it as a traditional XLR condenser microphone with my Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 audio interface, while the USB-C connection also gives me the flexibility to connect it directly to a computer when required. Having both options in one microphone makes it extremely versatile for a home studio setup. The microphone captures vocals with very good clarity and detail while maintaining a pleasant and professional sound. The extremely low self-noise is another major advantage, especially when recording quieter vocals or detailed audio in a home studio environment. The included shock mount and pop filter are also very useful and make this feel like a complete recording package rather than just purchasing the microphone alone. The overall build quality feels premium, solid and professional. For me, this microphone has been a very good investment for my home studio. It offers the flexibility to grow with my setup, whether I want to record through my audio interface or use the convenient USB connection directly with a computer. My only small point is that, like most sensitive condenser microphones, the recording environment and microphone technique can make a noticeable difference. In a quiet and reasonably controlled recording space, however, it performs extremely well. Overall, I am very happy with the RØDE NT1 5th Generation. Excellent sound quality, premium build quality, extremely low noise and the flexibility of both XLR and USB connections make it a great choice for vocal recording, music production and home studio use. Definitely recommended for anyone building or upgrading a serious home studio setup.
