Funkin Pro Mango Fruit Puree for Cocktails, Cooking & Baking, Real Fruit Cocktail Ingredients, 1kg Mixer

Although this is primarily marketed as a fruit purée for cocktails I bought this mango purée to use in food preparations. Normally I but the Merchant Gourmet Chef's Purée, but I thought I would give this one a try and I'm certainly happy that I did.Firstly the flavour is great, the purée is made simply with 90% mango and 10% sugar, it’s not too sweet and the taste of the mango is really fresh.A small thing but I really like the pouch they come in, its shape makes it easy to squash into a corner of a full fridge and the nozzle ensures it’s easy to pour without making a mess.The purée has a great shelf life (over a year on the two I received) and once opened is good for 8 days.After I’d used this for the recipes I had planned I still had over ½ a pouch left so I just poured it straight into my ice cream machine as it was and it made a lovely mango sorbet with very little effort on my part at all!The Funkin range of purées is now my go to choice, really happy I gave them a try. Would highly recommend.

I have been a Funkin customer for a year, but since you moved to Amazon you have also increased the prices too much, unfortunately I can't afford it! The quality is good, I have nothing to say, but the price is high

Fantastic swift delivery and well packed. This is a pure mango purée suitable to make the mango crisps I wanted for a dessert recipe. I am delighted with the results of using it in my dehydrator. I now have the desired crisps to wow my guests and boy, do they taste good.

My wife and I loved the taste of it. Great for smoothies sweet and rich flavor. The only downside is - it's only a kilo (2.2 pounds) - we ate it in under 3 hrs :) now I'm looking for a larger packaging of the same product ...

Used this to make fruit gel to go in Macarons. Set with Agar and worked a treat. Didn't use whole sachet so remainder is currently in freezer, will see how it deftosts!

Expensive but worth it. Made a divine mango cheescake, as well as puddings and cocktails.

This is the genuine stuff. If there are any fillers or artificial flavors, I could not detect it and I'm pretty sensitive to fake flavors, so I feel confident saying this is the real deal. The mango was even kind of thick and gooey like real mango juiced would be. The passion fruit was less gooey but still just as fresh tasting as the mango. Loved them both and will reorder when I'm ready. I put them into ice cube trays and froze them since I didn't think I could use it fast enough for just refrigeration.Used this to make homemade flavored bubble tea. Mixed 2 cubes in with green tea and added boba - yum!! NOTE: the passion fruit, being just the straight juice, will absolutely require sugar unless you just like the pucker-inducing sourness! I still added the sugar to the mango flavor too because the kids liked it a little sweeter and the unflavored boba needed a little help too.

We made mango margaritas with this product and dipped the rims of the glasses in lime juice and then in Tajin seasoning. Best margarita I’ve ever had. Tastes like right off the tree puréed mango.

Has a syrupy taste. Pretty expensive compared to the same product that you can buy in France. Otherwise, not bad.

I purchased the mango version.. taste was soso... While it has a nice pour pouch, the can puree can be had for more than half the price. You can get 4x the puree in cans for the same price and those are better tasting... Tried this as an option to the canned mango puree and it was a failure....Also once opened only good for 10 days ..
