It does what it should

Great device to show what is going on per phase in real time, and set alerts and actions depending on energy flow. The instructions aren’t that clear, so note that for 3 phase you will need to connect Lx3 and N to the top of the unit as well as the clamps around the meter tails. My electrician did this via MCBs on spare positions on the consumer unit to be extra safe and put the Shelly in its own DIN rail enclosure alongside the consumer unit. I now get alerts on my phone if we draw from the grid at expensive times and can measure the import and export on each phase in real time (not possible on the standard home smart meter displays).

Can’t really comment yet because I’m still in the process of fitting my solar systemBut I have it connected up and it’s monitoring my electricity which I can see through the app.It’s going to be a very good addition to my solar setup.

Love this product and it’s perfectly complimented when added to Home Assistant.I now regularly check out my energy consumption via my HA Dashboard.Had these installed in their own mini consumer unit next to my main one with room to add more in the future.

There are two primary functions of an energy meter:1. It should tell you how much energy is currently being used2. It should provide totals of how much energy was used in the pastThis device provides totals divided into time periods of 60 seconds, which would be great if you can access it without critical performance issues.Querying for the range of historical data that's present will take longer and longer the more data is stored. Eventually after 60 days it will take over 12 seconds for the device to respond, and it all it usually has to do is return 2 numbers: the oldest record timestamp and the number of 60-second records. While it's doing this it's unable to respond to queries for how much energy is currently being used because all of the API requests are processed sequentially (which is reasonable except it relies on all requests being processed quickly).Querying individual records takes almost a whole second too, which isn't ideal when I want to graph the energy currently being used every second.The outcome is that you can't reliably retrieve all of the historical data from the device because of this poor performance, and you definitely can't make graphs of your usage at the same time because it can only respond to your queries sequentially.If you can cope with not being able to reliably retrieve historical data, it can provide the 60-second usage totals as WebSocket events without impacting performance.The manufacturer refuses to fix this because the developers claim it can't be fixed.

Excellent product and easy installation. Allows me to monitor a remote condo and keep tabs on the HVAC and power consumption. The app is well polished and provides all the information and control you would expect with this device

J'ai installé ce compteur intelligent sur mon installation en triphasé.La partie la plus compliquée a été de faire de la place pour installer les 3 pinces dans mon tableau mais ca s'est bien passé.En monophasé, une seule pince suffit.L'installation est claire, simple et rapide.Si vous ne vous y connaissez pas en électricité, faites appel à un professionnel.Très utile !

Funciona perfecto y es super útil para el monitoreo de todo el cuadro eléctrico mas 2 cargas. Tambien lo he usado para monitorear motores trifasicos, es genial!
