Good item & great price with included cylinders.
These co2 injectors sell for £16 minimum elsewhere, which is not great value but is the going rate... When you add in the cost of 2 packs of co2 cartridges in (£4 minimum each from anywhere), this puts the actual cost of the injector itself at just £11. On the basis of that, this is a very good deal! Mine arrived quickly & works perfectly. Recommended!

Good quality and easy to follow instructions
Thought my seal was leaking so decided to get a new top and gas cartridges, only to find I have a hairline crack in the top of my barrel, the top ,valve and gas cartridges are good quality and instructions easy to follow

Great item
I got this to replace the standard cap that came with my youngs barrel. I was having problems with lack of pressure due to the old lid leaking. This replacement lid has been great since I installed it, I have not had to use the CO2 as the lid is a great fit and has kept pressure.

Test before using for beer.
Decided to test with water before filling with beer. Initially the co2 would leak straight out as I tried to fill with co2. I lubed the main seal and still leaked gas around the valve. Removed valve a re-seated the black seal. After this I managed to get it to hold pressure and measure using the pressure gauge.

Not food grade materials!
The valves in the cap rust very quickly, I have two of these. they are not made of suitable materials for food use. I had a leaking tap on the barrel and removed the cap to release the pressure, only to find quite heavy rust on the underside of the valve. I intended to release the pressure then re-fit the cap and turn the barrel on it's side to address the leak on the tap. After seeing the rust there was nothing I could do about the leak. I wasted nearly 40 pints of beer. I'm really not best pleased!

Home brew gas injector
Easy to use. Use just enough CO2 without over pressuring the barrel. One niggle was the o-ring seal supplied was slightly under sized and would not remain in place, so I had to use one of my own. Overall, an excellent addition to my kit.

co2 valve
this is a good bit of kit not quite what i was looking for,i had to change the cap for my old one but as a replacement part fits and works well. the only tool needed is a adjustable spanner and hey presto it is fitted ready for use.

Working at the moment- time will tell
I THINK it’s okay now, but I did find the valve was whistling a bit on initial use, suggesting pressure was being lost . I noticed the rubber seal between the metal valve and the plastic top wasn’t evenly squeezed, but by tightening the nut more I think I’ve solved this, and that whistle has gone. However I’m yet to see if sufficient pressure is going to be maintained. Only time will tell!
