Tasty and good value
Delicious and great texture. Nice flavour to it and authentic texture. Beats other mashes I've tried. Very good value for money.

No more potatoes wasted!
This is the best mash potato product on the market. I live on my own and don't have potatoes going green and therefore no waste. A very tasty product.

Tasty and convenient when you're on the go
Don't take this review as a suggestion that these should replace fresh food. It's hard to beat home cooked chips, wedges or mash but in a world where we seem to be busy all the time I find half a packet of these, hot water and a little bit of any additional flavoring you like or just on their own is definitely miles better than grabbing a takeaway or snacks. These are easy to make, genuinely tasty and the calories are very respectable/sensible. When camping these are definitely a key part of our food stock as you can't easily take a bag of potatoes on the road but you can always find water to heat. They are also easy to clean up as there's generally low waste with these. Also the price is better than in the supermarkets 👍

For a quick and easy mashed potato these are brilliant, just add butter & more herbs or anything else of your choice, garlic, fried onions, bacon, marmite, to more or less make a meal out of them on there own…just would like them to be more competitively priced…

The best I have ever tasted
If you sometimes appreciate the convenience of instant mash potato, then you really need to try Idahoen. To me it seriously tastes no different to making mash. Most instant mash that I've tried really doesn't cut it. Either they don't taste like potato or leave an unpleasant after taste. That is not the case with Idahoen. Been buying it now for 3 or 4 years and it simply is the best. Serve it up to friends or family and I bet they won't even realise that they are eating instant mash. I sometimes add a small quantity of milk and even a nob of butter, it just goes to make it that bit more creamy, but I'm sure most of us do that with real mash potato anyway. I highly recommend the Buttery variant and the Butter and Herb variant. Enjoy :-)
