what weight can it take

Hi there, I bought this for my Dad who is around 12 stone, unfortunately with his weight it just sinks into the car seat and doesn't swivel. I hope this is of some help to you.

Do these work on the back seat I have a volvo S40 and my mum likes sitting in the back but finds it hard to get out.

Don't know about the back seat. It doesn't work in my front seat in a small Mercedes A Class, because the seat base allows it to slide too far under the upright back. If your back seat doesn't tilt too far back it may work?

Will this seat fit a bucket car seat in an audi A1

I would say No! As the seat won't be wide enough for the car seat to swivel round.
