Works for my geriatric kitten
My 18-year-old FIV positive cat, Little Bit, who sstill acts like a kitten, suddenly became very whiny, far too thin and stopped eating more than a few bites. I know quick weight loss in cats can cause fatal health problems so i immediately took her to the vet, believing she had a thyroid issue. He thought so as well. Then the blood work came back and I was devastated to learn she had kidney disease. I have had 4 cats who died from kidney disease, and dreaded what I knew was coming. I researched and found this product. I ordered it along with Epakitin, Kidney Restorer, Cat mix vitamins, probiotics, Simply Gold for renal failure, Salmon oil, and hemp and CBD oil. Little Bit resisted every KD food I tried, but with the addition of a phosphorus blocker and distilled water to her food, I can use her regular canned foods. I add distilled water to her canned food to further increase her fluid intake. Adequate fluid intake is crucial for survival in a cat with renal issues. The distilled water I now give her helps to further eliminate phosphorus from her diet. (If you are using canned food for your cat, no matter how healthy he or she is, stop right now. It is one of the worst things you can feed a cat. A cat will not drink enough water to counteract the lack of fluid in the food, hastening kidney disease in even the healthiest of cats. The dry food is also prone to becoming rancid quite fast and is most likely contaminated with rat and roach feces, bug parts, and many impurities. The worst canned food is probably healthier than a supposedly high quality dry food.) She still whines a lot when she is hungry, but she eats well, plays, looks and acts healthy. She still is too thin but we are working on it. Her kidney values are now absolutely normal. I credit this product and the others I use for her vast improvement. The only thing I do not like is that I can smell the ethyl alcohol. Is it necessary? Other than that issue, I am very pleased. I do wish I could find one product that contains all of the ingredients of each product I am using. Before making changes to your cat’s diet, discuss with your vet. My first vet felt KD dry food and sub -q fluids were the only real treatment options. His philosophy made no sense to me (I have a degree in Biology and have been through Kidney disease with enough cats to know this would not help LIttle Bit. He was sending her home to die. My new vet is supportive of Little Bit’s new regimen. I am now confident that Little Bit has lots of time left and will be able to enjoy it. I love my little 4 legged mischief maker far too much to let her suffer without a fight. So glad I found this product.

Amber NaturalZ Herbals and Kidney Rejuvenator is Great and Cat Approved!
Amber NaturalZ products are really some of the highest herbal supplements for pets. I've contacted the company about other products and they are very professional and courteous. I am using HWF Clean heart with my dog and her remaining heart worm symptoms have subsided. With this Kidney Rejuvenator, I am using it with two cats. One has previously had bladder issues, the other drinks very little water and the urine can have such a strong smell. I just mix the dose in with a little seafood pate', pumpkin puree and water to make a paste — they happily gobble it up. I would highly recommend Amber NaturalZ products from my experience.

Dog coming on 2 yrs old.
This is an update of my first review from July 2019. My dog who was diagnosed with chronic kidney failure as a pup, given 2 yrs to live. She has been on this since then, now July 2021 and still going strong. Full of energy and periodic blood tests have been good, not much change. Don't know if just lucky or if the stuff is really working. Vet says there is no way to tell but to keep her on it. He is very satisfied with blood tests considering her initial testing and diagnosis. I believe it is working based on my experience and other customer reviews. Of course still on a special kidney diet. Would recommend it to anyone having a pet with kidney issues when all else fails. Also, get them started on it as soon as you get the diagnosis. At 8 months old my puppy was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease. This was after tons of visit and money to a local vet who in turn sent me to a specialist. Specialist did a CAT Scan with dye and found the kidneys are not shaped properly and dye did not infiltrate all parts of the kidneys. Diagnosis is she will only live 2 years. She is acting very healthy and full of energy. She is on the Amber Technology Kidney Rejuvenator, has been is 10 months old, along with a special food diet. She is due for a follow-up visit in August 2019 to check her status. So I cannot say for sure at this time if this is helping until I find out her blood levels. Concerning the rating I do consider it a little on the expensive side, but it works as well as some of the reviews has said by others it is worth it. Concerning the flavor, my dog has no problems with it what so ever. Not sure what comfort rating means but dog is doing well at this time so that is the reason for the high rating. The final verdict is not in yet, but right now you would not know the dog has a problem. Started out with chronic UTI issues that would not clear up. Since on the Amber Technology Kidney Rejuvenator no more UTI. Update an review of product and Wolf Ranch: My dog still going strong considering the first diagnosis. Periodic blood work every 6 months, vet is amazed and pleased. Unfortunately and American Veterinary Associations has no studies on this, thus the vet cannot say either way if the good results are because of this product. But since she was considered in bad shape as a puppy, and the way she is now, vet says just keep it up. As far as Wolf Ranch, best price through them and fast delivery.

My vet and I swear by this stuff for my guinea pig!
My guinea pig has a history of bladder stones, despite his strict diet of low calcium veggies, filtered water, unlimited timothy hay, 1/8 cup Oxbow pellets. He needed surgery to remove a large bladder stone, but then a month and a half later, he was peeing blood again and crying. I had an xray done and it was another stone, but this one was smaller and could pass. I heard about this kidney rejuvenation stuff and gave it a shot. Within 4 or 5 days of using it, he passed the stone! DO NOT USE IF YOU DO NOT KNOW THE SIZE OF THE STONE! If the stone is too big to pass and gets stuck in the urethra, that is a painful death sentence. This stuff cleanses out the Urinary tract, so it will push the stone out, but only if it's small enough to come out. Get an x-ray done to be sure the stone is small enough to pass. Like I said before, if you use this when the stone is too big, it won't break the stone down, it will just cleanse it out and if it's too big, it will get stuck and be an extremely painful death. I have been using this daily for a year now and my boy had been bladder sludge and stone free! My exotic vet and I are both shocked! I still have to follow a strict low calcium diet and everything else I listed above, but this stuff has helped immensely. I've only had to buy another bottle once because I had the cap off and accidently knocked it off my dresser. TIP: when giving ur guinea pig these drops, put it on an Oxbow Simple Rewards Cranberry Treat, you can buy those at Petsmart or online. The treat absorbs it quickly, it tricks him into getting his medicine, he loves it, and it makes giving meds so quickly and easily.

Cat immediately threw up!
I’ve never written a review so fast. I gave this to my cat (at 1/4 the suggested dose) and 5 minutes later she started wrenching and puked all over the carpet. It’s been a half hour and she has not stopped licking her lips and gagging!!! Thanks for the emergency vet visit. Do not recommend!!!!

Addressing foaming at mouth
I just got this product and will be using it to help my dog with kidney problems, so I can't accurately rate it at this time but will follow up with success. I did want to say I gave some of the product to my cat, who foamed at the mouth; I called the company and they were very helpful. They suggested diluting it with water or broth -- I did this and it worked. My cat still hated it and swore at me, but did not foam at the mouth. Updated feedback 12-30-14: I gave this to my dog, whose creatin was way high. I started him on this product, and within about a week I had him retested. His levels came all the way down to normal range! I thought the vet would be totally curious about how this change came about so quickly, but no. It amazes me how generally uninterested they are in alternative approaches. The vet who gives him acupuncture treatments was, on the other hand, fascinated by the improvement and wanted info on the product. I also want to add that this product did not help my cat with crystals in his urine. What finally turned the corner there was Apple Cider Vinegar (the organic, unfiltered kind with the mother -- such as Braggs brand). Mix 1/4t ACV in 2t water. Dose is 1 ml or cc (same thing). I was giving it to him by syringe 5-6 times a day, and his urine analysis went from a level 4 crystal content to 0 in just over a week's time (again, minimal curiosity from vet). He went back to peeing normally in litterbox. He had also stopped eating and lost 2 lbs -- getting him to eat again was a bit challenging; we tried prednisone to increase appetite but oddly, what finally helped him regain appetite was an injection of valium. It was vet's idea as a last ditch effort. It calmed him, and a side effect of the med is an increased appetite. I switched him to wet food: Purina Pro Plan for urinary tract issues. It is much cheaper to buy this on Amazon than at the pet store! Keep in mind that pets with kidney/bladder/urinary tract issues would be better off not eating dry food (even prescription, which by the way has lots of grain content: not good!). They need as much liquid flushing through system as possible, and wet food delivers much more moisture than dry (which is just common sense, really). If you do use dry, make it as wet as possible. Hope this helps someone :)

Saved My Dogs Life!
My dog was feeling ill and I took him to the vet. I was told that he was in the final stages of kidney failure and he had a day to maybe a few weeks to live. I was absolutely devastated since he is like a child to me. I wasn't going to take this information lying down and not fight for him. I did research online and found the Kidney Rejuvenator product. I read many reviews and they all made it sound like it was a miracle cure. I work with marketing agents and know that sometimes only positive reviews can be filtered to show online, so I was still skeptical. But, I needed to try ANYTHING to help Hendrix. So, I ordered the Kidney Rejuvenator and had it shipped overnight. (For Saturday delivery) When he was first diagnosed at the vet, his creatinine levels were at 9.5. They kept him in the ICU at the vet hospital for four days on IV's and different medications. After those four days, his creatinine levels only dropped to 6.3. The vet wanted it at least 4 before they released Hendrix. She stated that at this point she just wanted him to go home and be comfortable, eat, and continue his IV's there. I couldn't get him to eat even at home and ended up blending his food and feeding him with a syringe. I received the kidney rejuvenator on a Saturday and started him immediately with a two a day dosing. We went in for a vet check on Thursday and his levels had already dropped to a 3.3!! That is in the normal range for creatinine levels! It has been over three weeks now and my boy is eating VERY well, walking normally with a wagging tail, and acting like himself again. I truly believe in this product and will be using it for the remainder of his life. Kidney Rejuvenator really did save Hendrix's life and I am eternally grateful to have more time with my "Little Man of the House".

it smells like fireball and I’m a little concerned about the grain ...
My order just arrived tonight. Honestly, it smells like fireball and I’m a little concerned about the grain alcohol content — but I gave my sweet Pippie (8 yr old sheltie) a little bit. She instantly wanted water, as do I when I drink alcohol (lol) — but in all seriousness, she wanted to go to the bathroom immediately. Don’t know if that’s a good sign but will continue to update. Pippie is in final stage kidney failure with less than 25% kidney function. For anyone else going through something similar with their dog, I highly recommend only giving your dog Electrolyte & pH balanced infused water — (for reference, SmartWater has electrolytes but no pH balance — life water is a good choice). I’ve been giving Pippie liquid omega 3-6-9 fatty acids — also highly recommend this. Dogs going through kidney failure generally have high levels of phosphorous in their systems — Tums’ ingredients have phosphorous-binding components and help flush toxic phosphorous out of system; however, if your dog has too much calcium — which, from what I understand, is fairly common and can be dangerous in dogs with kidney failure, then stay away from tums. The safest phosphorous binding agent you can give your dog is Aluminum Hydroxide (you can find liquid form of this at CVS next to milk of magnesia - I couldn’t find it at Walgreens). If your dog won’t eat, get a syringe. I also recommend using plain oatmeal - high in carbs & fiber, and make sure it has no sodium.
