This is my 4th Holosun purchase I'm running this on a handgun it works well, was easy to install, after some trial and error I found a brightness setting that works for me in most conditions. Shake awake conserves battery and solar can recharge if necessary. Holosun products a a good value Imo

An amazing optic. Been conceal carrying every day for the last 8 years. This optic is a game changer. The enclosed emitter design makes it super easy to clean your optic. I no longer have to worry about lint or dust falling into my optic as I carry it around. Dot is crisp and bright. Easily adjustable light settings. This optic has held up to a lot of abuse in the last year.

Mounted on a Sig p365 X Macro Comp. It works with or without the included RMS mounting plate. However, if you mount it without the RMS plate, you need to sand a couple millimeters off the mounting screws or the slide will bind. After getting it mounted and sighted, it has been rock solid. Hundreds of rounds through and it stays zeroed. I love the option of 3 reticles. I'm not sure that I like the auto-brightness because there have been times I have been shooting outdoors and I've been in the shade and my target was in the sun and I couldn't see the reticle because the sight dimmed the reticle since I was in the shade. The reticle is excellent and bright when in a well-lit area, though. In my house in the dark, the reticle is OK. I still wish it was still a little brighter than what the auto-brightness feature makes it. So, I have set the brightness to a constant level that works for me whether I am in the bright outdoors or in dim light. That's the only negative I have found to this sight. Be sure to read the directions so you know how to switch between modes and reticles otherwise the button pushing can be frustrating. I would rate this sight 9/10 with -1 point for the reticle being too dim in low light. Otherwise excellent Green Dot Sight.

I bought this mini optic for my new S&W Performance Center M&P Shield Plus 9mm ACP. The subcompact pistol comes with a CT Red Dot which is subpar to the features that Holosun provides. This Green Dot optic fits the gun perfectly thanks to the included baseplate and allows me to co-witness the fiber sights like the original optic. It even fit the same Vedder IWB holster. The green dot stands out better in all lighting conditions than the red, the battery is long lasting and easy to replace, the solar backup provides ease of mind, and remains accurate through hundreds of rounds fired. The enclosed housing makes it easy to clean and keeps dust and rain out of the optic. Installation was a breeze. I used a red 9mm bore-sighter to sight in the optic at 15 meters. It's a bit pricey compared to other Holosun and CT options but well worth the money.

Good quality and tons of features. I especially like the shake to wake and the battery replacement accessible without removing the optic. The backlighting with solar is a little tricky but overall great optic. Highly recommended.

I was honestly expecting more out of Holosun for the high price & the good things that i've heard about them, but ive also read some bad things about them. Well I'm here to tell youthe reviews are 100% correct: The mounting screws that come with the optic out of the box are absolute garbage. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR LIFE!!! Before buying this optic I read alot of bad things about how these screws are too soft and how its so easy to strip them, so put them on with a little bit of blue loctite and made sure not to overtighten them.(They were on there pretty good & I have also mounted several optics in the past) Long story short, not even 3 rounds into zeroing the optic, the optic flew out hit me in the face and landed out past the hot line. They had to call a cease fire because it flew so far out into the range. It was embarrasing and made me feel a complete amateur. When the range instructor brought the optic back to me he looked at the brand, asked me if I installed it with the screws that came in the box & he was basically like yeah Holosun makes horrible mounting screws for some reason. Ive seen it happen alot here & this one regular at the range had to go back forth with them about the screws stripping on him until he gave up after the 3rd time & bought some aftermarket screws from a different company & they seemed to have worked out just fine for him. I guess thats what I have to do now. I had to switch back to my previous optic & I'm just hoping that my super expensive optic from Holosun isnt damaged from being flung out into the concrete floor. HORRIBLE FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH HOLOSUN!!!
