Color Charts XL: Color Collection Edition

Excellent A4 colour chart book. I have had a couple of the smaller books and hesitated about buying this bigger one - I am so glad I did, each page has a 1inch square to lay down your colour and they show up very well, plus plenty of room to write a description. I have added a photo of the original size compared to this book, The paper is good quality and takes marker pens verywell [with card behind to stop the bleed] It does mean there are only 24 spaces instead of 45 but it is worth it [for me] to have fewer but larger colour indicators.

I am delighted with this Colour Chart book. I have the smaller edition but much prefer this larger size. I have a few sets of good pencils, Polychromos and Posca pencils being my favourite ones. I have also just purchased the new Monarch pencils from Black Widow. I found I was using the same few colours all the time. Charting them in this book has allowed me to try out every single pencil and see the fantastic variety of colours. I have noticed a couple of reviews commenting on the paper quality in this book, in my opinion the paper is fine, I prefer thicker paper in Colouring books but for colour charting it’s absoluely fine. So far I have only used pencils so am unable to say if pens come through the other side.

Just big enough for recording my pencil collection. Wish the paper was better and pages serrated. Anyway, not bad for organizing your pencils by brands.

I bought this swatch book because my smaller copy is getting full with pens and pencils and I wanted a larger space for swatching paints and inks. As well as having a larger area for the swatch, there is also more space for writing the colour name and number. To capture my ink colours, I used one of my stamps that fit within the area of the box. This looks so much nicer than just brushing the pad across the space. One addition I have added is to number each of the pages and then create an index in the front cover. I initially started (in my first small book) to write the names on post-it flags, but as the book filled up these flags got out of hand all the way down the side of the book. This index is every bit as quick and much tidier. If they produce a new edition, it might be nice to have the Index and page numbering provided, but this isn't enough to downgrade my rating. If you are a fan of alcohol markers, it is worth knowing that the pages are single sided so you won't lose any, just put a piece of card behind in case of bleeding.

Absolutely love this colour chart! With all my art supplies, I really want to have something I can keep references from to decide my colours and this did just the job. The paper is thick so nothing will bleed through and the quality is like no other. Can't recommend enough.

Daughter loves it. Great as she likes to be super organised. Shes only ten. Should last a very long time. Great quality paper stock too.

I have had this a while now, great book for recording your coloured pencil shades. Lots of pages and the paper is good quality. Definitely worth buying if you have a lot of different brand of pencils

I’m glad I bought this swatch book. Previously I paid 2711/- on flipkart for the ruby charms big book of colour charts and after a month of eagerly waiting for it, flipkart went and cancelled the order😡. And I came back to my favourite amazon and searched and bought this book. I am surprised at the size of it..it’s a pretty large size. And the swatch boxes are generously sized. I’m thoroughly enjoying laying down all my colours from various pencil brands. Go ahead and buy....even though the paper is thin, it’s very smooth and I love that there is so much space for writing the text. Thanks amazon! Buy this swatch book without a second thought...easy on the pocket too!!

I do adult coloring pretty much every day. It is my number one hobby. This product came up on my Amazon, and I eventually bought it. I think it is an incredible value for the price. It is just a book full of pages with 24 big empty squares and several lines next to each square. It also has space for a title or what set of coloring supplies the page contains and also the date. I am a little confused as to why there is a space for the date. I'm not sure why you would need to know the date in this instance. Maybe colors change or fade over time? Who knows. I am very happy with this book. The only problem I can see so far is for coloring supplies where differentiating the actual markers from each other is impossible without actually labelling the markers themselves, like Crayola or Rose Art super tips. In the introduction of the book, she (?) tells you to put a sheet behind the page you are using to prevent bleed-through, so I have been doing that. I don't think the pages are especially thin. They seem comparable to Creative Haven coloring book paper. It's a pretty thick book, but you still might need more than one if you have a large coloring media collection. I got the XL edition based on reviews. It is the size of your standard coloring book. The squares are pretty big, so I haven't been filling them completely. I think the idea is that you could blend colors within the square of press hard and soft, like for colored pencils. Very happy with this book.

紙質はあまりよくないけれど、カラーチャートを作っておくと、増え続ける色鉛筆やマーカーの管理に便利。買い足す色とかが一目瞭然。 片面印刷なので、アルコールマーカーなど裏移りするものでも大丈夫。ページ数も多からず少なからずって感じでちょうどいい。長期保管用としては表紙の紙質もあまり丈夫そうではないので、厚紙で覆ってオリジナル装丁してます。
