LocknLock Round Storage container 2.5ltr (245 x 86mm)

Great quality storage jar. Just the perfect size for my overnight oats. Personally I make up a couple of portions at a time, but would hold more.

Using to store ginger nut biscuits. Fit great with shrinkflation. Good fitting sturdy lid, liquid holds well. Great item

I regularly make sourdough bread at home, which requires a nice active sourdough starter to be fed and maintained. When I started, I used old jars and then I bought a couple of jars with wire locking lids, but found them awkward to wash out and the jar weights were not consistent. These lock and lock containers have been brilliant. I bought two, and found that when empty, they weigh exactly 60g without the lid. This makes weighing the contents a breeze as the maths are simple. They are easier to clean than a jar as I can get my whole hand through the opening, and because they are translucent it’s easy to keep an eye on the contents. I have found that with just two of the tabs locked down, the container is not 100% airtight. This is brilliant for me as it allows the gasses from the sourdough to escape when it’s active. With all four tabs locked down it is completely airtight which allows me to store the dormant sourdough starter in the fridge. My only negative comment is that if anything with a strong aroma is stored in them, it seems almost impossible to remove the smell. I had one which had been used for ground coffee in the fridge (a task for which it’s ideally suited) but had to buy these new ones as nothing would get the smell of coffee out.

Muy bueno. Cierra fácilmente y no se salen líquidos. También es perfecto para guardar cosas que habitualmente están en plato con el pesado film (ej. una tortilla o un roscón)
