Springfield Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer (8-Inch)

Thought this product looked good, but when I read the instructions it states not to put anywhere sunny. Being as this is designed for outside use this seemed totally absurd as the sun will reach it eventually. When the sun reaches it the reading is not correct.

I actually used this thermometer. This little thing has survived the Flint Hills seasons—it has fallen, been rained on, taken hail, and been through all kinds of weather, and it still keeps working. It’s a simple plastic thermometer, not a fancy one. It can get a little foggy inside and the spring may need a little poke once in a while to get moving again, but it keeps doing its job. If it can survive Kansas weather, it can probably survive just about anywhere. add all my fancy gadgets. I love this little thing. The old country way works the best. When the models can’t make up their minds he just look out the window and your little thermometer will tell you the truth.

Easy to put up. Large face means its easy to use.

The thing I like about this thermometer is the size of the numbers, so easy to read. However, doesn't matter what the weather is like or how big the numbers are because it always 82F in our house! I tried putting it the garage where it's hotter than hell but still 82F. I would return it but it arrived on recycling day and the box was thrown away. I would NOT recommend this product.
