What's the difference between "super lube 92003 silicone lubricating grease with ptfe" and "super lube 21030 synthetic grease"?

One is a silicone grease. the other is . . . not. (It may be a PAO formula.) On the Super-lube website (under Tech Data Sheets) it says, "There is no Silicone in Super Lube® Multi-Purpose Grease with Syncolon® (PTFE)." Although the name seems slightly different, on that webpage it specifically includes product #21030.

Is it non-toxic and can be used with food equipment?

Non-toxic does not mean food grade. If you want to lubricate food processors or any equipment to do with food (that includes your water faucets etc), use 21030 synthetic grease which is a food grade lubricant.

Why did this just double in price?

It looks like Amazon ran out of stock in February 2022. 3rd party sellers took up the slack and had their day. Now that Amazon got it back in around September 2022, the price has remained inflated. It's likely a supply-side issue, but then every seller wants to keep their prices high on anything that has such a weird issue, thinking that the demand will stay flat enough to profit from it. All it takes is a 3rd party to start winning the Buy Box from Amz with a low price and then everything should go back to normal.
