Spigen Slim Armor Pro Designed for Galaxy Z Fold 4 Case (2022) - Pearled Ivory

When I first got my Fold 4 I bought this case and hated it, didn't mount good and felt like it would fall off and was super flimsy. I returned it quickly and tried something else. A few months in, I kinda forgot why I didn't like it at first and figured I'd give it another try. The case fits great! Pairs nicely with the Spigen screen protector and camera protector, and it really makes the phone feel like the premium device it's suppose to be. I have no issues with the hinge protector hitting any other part of the case, it functions perfectly, it actually keeps more dust out then I expected, unlike many other cases I've tried. Dust on the internal screen is still an on going issue, like with every case, but I do feel like this case also handles that a little better then most. Seriously man... all you need to do is wedge the edges of the top and the bottom a bit to close the gap a bit and it would really cut down on dust. But until that design comes along, here we are with this great case. I would highly recommend this case over most others.

This was one of my favorite case options for the Z Fold 4 even if it is one of the more expensive ones. The satin black finish is very good looking and consistent throughout the entire case even on different textures with very clean lines and no flashy gimmicks like a stupid flimsy kickstand or credit card holder or anything stupid like that. the worst looking part in my opinion is that you can see the hinges for the hinge cover on the front side of the phone but that's a functional choice that actually makes a difference.The hinge cover has a texture that is very grippy so no matter how you hold it, opened or closed, it stays in the hand well. This case provides good accidental drop protection but with it being a folding device these things still aren't really ready for people who frequently drop their phone anyways but it seems like the case will do a better job than most at keeping everything from getting damaged including the hinge.Unfortunately there are still some cons like since the hinge cover doesn't close airtight to the rest of the case you do have to open it and clean the hinge every so often to ensure that dust doesn't get anywhere it shouldn't, the price has also been a bit of a sting when there are a few more options this generation and the competition seems to be priced much more competitively however the only issue with Spigen cases for folding devices I've run into is that eventually the stickers fail which is why they provide a second set.Recommended as even though the cost is high, if you are paying out for a Z Fold, the protection it offers makes it worth it as repairs can be costly.

Case was easy to install. I prefer tempered glass for front screen protection. It is more sensitive to touch. Biggest downside is that it's very difficult to remove all of the dust from the screen no matter how much time is spent cleaning it with the alcohol wipe and the removing all dust with the stickers. Especially if you have pets. Still the sensitivity is worth the effort. This case lasted about 10 months and was purchased at full price $89.99. That's roughly $9 per month which is a pretty good price for protecting a phone with a high price and with so much screen. The thin plastic strip down the front screen, where the fold 4 opens, broke after 10 months. It would not glue or tape together with enough tension to remain on the phone. The case is on sale now for $69.99, so an even better deal. I dropped it enough to honestly state the case is worth the investment. I would have given it five stars if it had lasted an entire year.

I bought this case for the Galaxy Fold 4, this is a 1 year review on this product.Although the design looks great and sleek, it does a "somewhat" decent job at protecting the case and damages it in the process. There are some major flaws with this case! For one, the hinges on this case IS NOT SECURE AND WILL DAMAGE YOUR DEVICE. If you look at the other reviews/pictures, you'll see that many of the phones have 4 little Knicks/scratches on their device. I thought it was just user error, but I will say without a doubt now. After long term of the device, it will 100% damage and leave scratches near the hinge. BEWARE. Other than that, please note the the case itself has started to crumble near the same area, I do want to mention that I've only dropped my phone about 4-5 times throughout the year. But the case itself remained intact and had no blemishes. It was only after towards the 10th month mark did the case start crumble and degrade. I would go with a different case that doesn't damage your device.

I will admit, this case will protect you phone if you happen to drop occasionally and I don't drop my phone often. Problem is that, the durability of the case.The same fragile area (leftside front screen, folded closed...see the photo) has broken twice and the first time I thought it was bc I dropped my phone the case broke but protected the phone.So purchased this same case, but the second time around the case broke taken my phone out of my pocket (got snagged) bent and broke the same exact part off.At this point, I'll be looking to test out a different brand & case.Not a terrible case but not worth the cost.

I received the OEM Samsung case for this phone for free with my phone and hated it almost immediately. This Spigen case is night and day different. You can tell a lot of work went into the engineering of this case as it fits the phone perfectly. Was very easy to install also. I am glad it does not have a slippery feel to it, the grip is nice. Phone seems very protected now and the case does not add much to the thickness of this already fat phone. Time will tell as to how well it will stand up to a drop. Only down side is the cost which is equivalent to the OEM case, I don't mind the price as a one time purchase for a phone this different, however hopefully it will not need to be replaced when the inevitable day comes when I accidentally drop it. I will try to come back here and edit this if/when that happens. Would have liked some color options, but Spigen has beat most of the big case mfrs. to market for this new phone as usual so I suspect colors will come down the road.

I used this case for a year. It saved my device from hard falls 4-5 times before the front piece of the case randomly broke one day. I honestly won't complain about it since the case had already done what I paid for several times by that time.I, however, decided to shop around to see what else is available in the market. First I got the Supcase case (looks like a tank, feels cheap!) and then the VRS case (I love the colours but flaud design). Those cases cost a half of this one, but I sent both of them back and ordered this case again. The fit and feel of this case is so much better than any of the other cases. And when I have already seen for myself that it can protect the device from fairly severe falls, I see no way I'm getting any other case for my device. I just wish there were more colour options.
