I have now bought all 4 for my grandson. They slot together and make an ideal display for bedroom or desk. Prices vary but on the whole they are good value for money and make a perfect gift for any Sonic fan. Brightly coloured and good quality.

I hadn't heard of WOW! Pods before this so wasn't sure what to expect. It's an alternative to collectables of just the figures - this one having the immersive background - a 3D lenticular background although I've found tilting these from side to side or back and forth doesn't really make the background move but it does give that 3D illusion. The main downside is Tails is quite big so you lose quite a lot of the background detail and if standing back, the background isn't that visible. Tails is very cute. I expected with it saying it's a 'Collectable Bobble-Head figure' that the head would actually move but it's a stationary figure - it doesn't move at all. My son seemed to really like it at first as he is a fan of Sonic but after looking at and putting it in his room it quickly lost it's appeal as it doesn't do anything. I like the fact that it will connect to other pods so you can build up your collection so you can really personalise it combining pods from other ranges too. At £12.99 it's OK value but not sure this will be as big as the likes of Funko Pops.

My daughters love these PODS - there's so many characters available that it's become a bit of an obsession. This one featuring Sonic character Tails is really nice - the general positioning of the character is rather fun and the lenticular style Sonic game background really brings it to life. They fit well to other available character PODS, so it's easy to build up a nice display, although they can be a little more awkward to pull apart. My daughters love creating interesting shapes with their pods. I have to admit that the pods look really fantastic on display - they're great for either popping on a desk or hanging on the wall and they make a perfect collectable for both kids and teens.

I personally don't get the point of these I think they are purely decorative. They don't so anything just a display piece. Once you slot 2 of these together they are so difficult to get back appart

Pods 4D present an interesting idea for collectibles. The figurine comes mes ready to display inside their own hexagonal diorama that can be linked together for larger displays. They come in colour open fronted packaging. The figurine is nicely sculpted and painted. Characters like Tails are probably the best in this line due to their cartoon aesthetic. The background is lenticular is a little underwhelming and it would be nice if had some LED lighting. Overall a nicely sculpted collectable. Tails is probably one of the better choices in my opinion, and a display of similar video game characters in their pods could look really good.

Well you have to give credit to the creators of these, genius. I’m not sure how many are in the collections but this one is number 480! Once a little one (or older one) starts collecting they are going to want more and more and that’s where the expense will come in. As an item it is well made, the hexagon outer is really solid with grooves to connect each together. I really like the Tails figure, its bright and well designed in front of a 3D sonic background which is detailed but you can’t see much of it with the figure in front. It’s not something that you can really play with but as a collection this would look really effective on a shelf and it’s an easy present for someone who collects them. They connect together easily and securely. Individually not expensive but to build a collection it would get pricey.

There were some issues with the paint application that I had to fix before gifting this item. It's cute otherwise and it's a very great choice

I bought this originally when it was the pod that had the 8 bit sonic the hedgehog text over it and you connected it to other ones to make the whole phrase. (If you know you know) Those had horrible paint jobs and were easy to break in shipping. Had to return due to it being both broken and painted horribly. This one seems like an upgrade! They switched the text out to a background image and the paint job is better on the figure! It’s also more durable. Loving this one way more! If you bought the original or were hesitant cause of the bad reviews, this is way better!

Not worth the money very small however my son loves tails.however the toy was made very well and sits nice on my sons dresser.
