I wanted this yarn initially because I had been gifted a pair of socks with similar stripes, and I wanted to knit some more. This yarn isn't quite chunky enough for ring looms to make socks, but it knits up into hats beautifully! The texture is soft and gentle, and it's delightful to knit up onto chunky needles for a warm scarf. I was amazed at how big the ball of yarn was, and it's made three hats and one scarf (all adult size). I can't praise this product enough - it's versatile, the color gradient is perfect, and I'm looking forward to looking at others in the same range.

Very nice product knitted up quickly. A knitted square in the advert would be good as shaded colour difficult to tell when knitted up.

Inspired by series 3 of Happy Valley, I wanted to knit a "Catherine scarf", and this was the shade apparently used for the character's hand knitted scarf. Not having knitted for over 50 years, it was an easy yarn to work with, and knitted up really well and quickly. Lovely soft palette of colour too. I've even managed to follow a pattern, and knit some hats.
