I found it tasted a bit like oxo with boiling water added. I expect the homemade version is undoubtedly much better. Expensive gravy.

Although I much prefer the lighter Clearspring Miso Soup Mellow White Tofu 40g in taste, if you prefer a heartier taste then this is for you. Dried miso soup is never quite like the real thing, made from miso paste, but it is very convenient, low in fat and very filling. Unlike cuppasoups, the whole contents dissolve without leaving a gungy residue at the bottom. You do really need to eat it with a teaspoon though- both to keep the miso particles insuspension and to eat the squares of wakame seaweed as you go. Ingredients from ClearspringFreeze-dried miso (whole soya beans, rice, sea salt) (89%), dried green onions, wakame sea vegetable (4%).
