Adore Shining Semi Permanent Hair Colour, 107 Mocha

I have keratin extensions in and I didn't want to keep going to the hairdressers for colours. My hair had faded from brown to ginger so much everyone thought I had coloured it ginger. I have black eyebrows so decided to Google if there was something I could use at home. Its important not to have certain things in it that would damage the bonds. I found this and thought would try it. I only used a bit and have loads left so thought it would come out patchy or not develop. I have to say when i first got the bottle I didn't think there was much in it and was worried it wouldn't be enough to cover my hair. I didn't pre wash it as I don't use products in my hair so just put it on left it probably over 30 mins. I would use gloves to apply. I then rinsed it out and conditioned it and omg my hair is an even lovely rich brown. Not sure how long it will last for but i have loads left in the bottle.

Easy to use. Lovely dark brown. Like all dyes it gives a slight orange hue in the sunlight but not much. Covered the blonde in my hair & covered the greys. Washed it a few times & greys are starting to show as it washes out but I’m so impressed. This is the after photo over blonde highlights.

Adore has a healthy selection of natural semi-permanent colours, which are increasingly difficult to find outwith your typical natural black dyes or box dye alternatives. I've repurchased a few of their colours on multiple occasions. However, I find myself hesitant to return, aside from the lack of competition, because these dyes just don't have great staining power. They tend to fade quickly, and I've found multiple bottles to have a really odd clumpy gelatinous consistency, reminiscent of boiled down Coca-Cola with the smell to match, that makes it rather difficult to work with. I've often wondered if the product was sold expired, but upon using up my 4th bottle, I'm inclined to believe that the product is simply formulated that way...

Was confused why I had to shampoo hair, towel dry, add the hair dye, then shampoo again, it washed straight out, what a complete waste of time

Lovely colour, not harsh on your hair. Has a nice smell to it, nice convenient bottle for storage for multiple uses. A little goes a long way so you can get a good few uses out of it. Just the colour I was looking for

As its a toner i played with the colour, hair is normally blonde ashy tones a few different blondes dark to light. I did all the under part of my hair in the toner and then went through and did streaks through the top, then before I washed it out , I wet it more and washed it like shampoo all over , so all my hair had different times of the toner on it , its a lovely warm late chocolate colour and people been commenting what a lovely color, I will use again .

I was quite hesitant to buy the product due to the amount of bad reviews it got but i tried it and it was 100% worth it. The smell weirdly reminded me of my childhood. It smelled of those sugary juices/squash that you needed to add water too. The product itself did a good job. It,at first, left my hair brown with strong red pigments that you could see. But after 3-4 washes it completely went away and i was left with this beautiful brown colour. So instead of putting this into your basket and wondering if its worth the money to buy it- just buy it! You wont be disappointed

Essendo abituata a testare molte varianti di questo brand, per me non è affatto una sorpresa: è proprio la natura di questo tipo di formulazione a comportarsi così, sbiadendo progressivamente lavaggio dopo lavaggio. Sapendo in partenza che la durata è limitata e che richiede una manutenzione costante, resta uno dei miei brand preferiti per il rapporto qualità/prezzo e per come rispetta la salute dei capelli.

White hair came back on immediately after rinsing my tiny short hair. Even 60 minutes wont help. Without developer nothing worked on short hair so neither did this product.

It will not cover grey hair at all …
