Never seen so many contradictory answers. purchasers say it's made of plastic, seller says glass. apparently it can and can't make tonic water???

It's strong and made of glass with a mesh external layer which might explain why some thinks its plastic. It produces excellent soda water.Traditional ' tonic water' requires the addition of quinnine so it doesn't produce that, only soda water..

Is the bottle part of the seltz siphon selz classic 1lt made of glass of plastic ?

Whether it's made from glass or plastic, remember there is a transmitter inside the neck. Never say you don't like it as the CCP is listening.... Is it really beyond the wit of man for Amazon to provide a definitive answer about what material this bottle is made of....????
