I think regular boucy balls from Dollar store will work.

This states that a manual comes with the set to give you ideas for how to play.. My set had no manual. Where is this manual?

I did not get a manual either. My kids just made up their own rules.

Are the 8 bouncy balls available to buy separately?

I did not see an opportunity to purchase balls separately, however they remind me of super balls that were popular a decade or two ago. They're very dense and bounce high. You may be able to find similar balls elsewhere.
