1 of 2 pack has failed
This item failed 1 year after first use. It stayed in the laptop with limited removals. Now it causes the a releated usb fail on the laptop. Occurred when pulling power cord or while in transport after shutdown. Now on to the 2nd one.

Question of durability
Worked great for a few months and then bent and no longer works. If I had bent it by handling it aggressively then I'd blame myself and I wouldn't rate it lower, but this was just from normal use.
